LifeLabs Medical Laboratory Services

I had to have last minute blood tests today, a Friday. We drove to the nearest Lifelab in the Frederick Mall in Kitchener. It was about 1:30 in the afternoon. Lucky for me I was taken right in. Within a few short minutes my blood tests were done.

Today was the most pleasant experience I've ever had well having blood drawn. The wait to get in was about 5min and once in I was put right into a room. The tech (a lovely older woman) was friendly and very sweet to my young son. I have hard to find veins (I explained this to her) so she took her time making sure she had found one and was able to get the blood drawn on the first try! Most people take at least 3 trys! My total experience was good. Clean clinic with fast service and friendly staff! Definitely will be my go to place for blood work.

I have extreme anxiety when it comes to needles at the age of 25. This is very overwhelming when having to get blood work and embarrassing having to explain this. 2 ladies working today who helped draw my blood went above and beyond. Being compassionate and kind truly goes a long way, especially during these hard times. One of the nurses (I wish I got her name) went out of her way to let me have my boyfriend there, talk to me through everything, use a smaller needle and be so comforting. This truly makes the experience so much better! I’m so thankful for the ladies there for me today

Horrible staff! Horrible experience!!! I went into life labs to have blood work done when I finally got into a room.. I could clearly see the chair had not been whipped down after the last person (hand and arm prints on the chair) and being pregnant I wanted to be extra careful not to pick anything up..so I decided to wipe off the chair my self in the middle of doing this someone starts screaming (not yelling screaming) excuse me excuse me what are you doing I didn’t think anything of it because I wasn’t doing anything wrong.. until I was physically assaulted by one of the staff (Zali) she hit me with her clip-board from behind, then when I turned around she proceeded to scream at me that everything is cleaned & that I don’t need todo that, that I am not allowed todo that, and to never do that again.. that everything was already cleaned when I tried to explain it didn’t look clean when I entered and I wanted to be safe because I’m pregnant she completely ignored me and kept screaming to the point I’m sure absolutely everyone in that life labs heard her. She was the most rude and unprofessional health care worker I have ever been in contact with and I feel sorry for anyone that ever has to see this person! When I told the other worker that came in todo my blood work what happened she knew exactly who I was talking about and kept apologizing on her behalf as if this wasn’t the first person she’s behaved this way towards. You may won’t to think twice about booking any bloodwork/tests at life labs in Frederick street mall. I will never go back there!

Someone give Esther a raise!!! She was amazing!! That was the most painless blood test I have ever had in my life.

The staff is very excellent and friendly . I always go there for blood work . Always come back fully satisfied and smiling . God bless them

Worst lab I have ever been to. Every worker has a bad attitude. Every worker talks to you like you’re garbage.
