Usually has a calm, quiet atmosphere, too bad you sometimes get a feeling of being profiled and gossiped about and the need for privacy doesn't seem recognized IMO, so it feels like high school, IMO, where social disadvantage is sometimes escalated by those with social advantage, sometimes leading to an escalated drop out rate. The work tables were empty. There is free access to internet and printer costs 10 cents a page here.A small but good selection of French and English DVDs can also be found here. And as expected there are a lot of books, both English and French to choose from. There is a kid's section upstairs, which is very nice. There is a cultural centre in the same building.Might have a chance for getting trapped in a human error generated toxic loop, due to lack of privacy, but otherwise uneventful. Didn't experience any random acts of kindness.I found the library culture at the Cote des Neiges location more uplifting, seemed more positive, seemed more professional, seemed more respectful for privacy and seemed busier and much less intimidating. At one point, the staff member at this location seemed to assume that I didn't have a library card and I had to give it to her for inspection before I was allowed to sign on to the computer, as if the computer would have let me log on without it.I have been going to this library off and on for around 6 years, and I always renew my card early. There seems to be a lack of privacy at this location, IMO. The computers are very close to each other and the work table is open without any privacy dividers.Good location if in a rush but for a more relaxed library experience I recommend the Cote des Neiges location.

Not very convenient to get to by car as the parking is very limited in the area. Great selection of children's books, and very friendly and helpful staff, it's always a pleasure to go with my kids.

Small and cosy library, the staff is nice. The wifi generally works well.Generally a bit noisy. You might want to check or order in advance a book if you are looking for something specific as the collection is quite limited.

Very nice library. They offer lots of activities: all ages, parents/kids, kids only. All for free and very high quality program. My kids love going there and the range of books is very nice. This is fully accessible so no problem going there and have a family time. I love the cushions close to the windows, makes it a cozy place. A little improvement would be to receive an email notification when we register to activities (and even register online) instead of being called.

Awesome services for the NDG community! The customer service is stellar and the rooms for community project use are really large and rather stylish for a library.

One of the best bibliothèques in Montreal. The librarians here are really helpful. The collection is also quite exhaustive!
