Omni Healthcare Country Terrace

The nurses here are great. However, the constant issue with item theft from my mother's room leaves a lot to be desired. No answers from staff or management about it. While I feel her physical care is being looked after here I am actively looking at ways to get her moved because the amount stolen from her room is cause for concern.

I CAME IN. TO. VISIT MY SISTER. SHE LIKED IT BUT KEPT CHANGING. ROOMS. I. REALLY DIDN'T GET TO KNOW THE. STAFF. TO. ME TO MANY PEOPLE. THE FIRST TIME IN. BEFORE I SAW SIS. THEY TOLD ME TO GO BACK TO MY ROOM.. MY ROOM WAS IN LONDON ONTARIO AND I AM IN KAMOKA

My dad has been living at the Country Terrace for a few months where he received an excellent care from genuinely kind staff of whom I really can’t speak highly enough. Every time when going there for a visit, every single staff member has been considerate, friendly, and very helpful.Dad has a combination of Dementia and Alzheimer's disease and with progression of that sickness he didn’t really enjoy socializing with other people, but every time when visiting him at that facility, we have been nicely surprised to see how truly happy dad was to see a staff member passing by. He was waving to them, shaking their hands or inviting them to sit with us. With mom we were very pleased to see that, as this showed that for him to act this way, they had to be wonderful and kind to him.The County Terrace is a pleasant, well run and clean facility with good size rooms. Staff members are professional and compassionate. Food is excellent and freshly prepared. My family and I are very pleased that my dad could spent some time in this warm and friendly environment. I highly recommend this place!THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart to ALL STAFF at Country Terrace for your hard work and for taking excellent care of your residents!!!
