Tom Tech Repairs

Took my PS4 in yesterday to get a free diagnosis, as it would not load up the main menu. Tom looked it over and reinstalled the OS and got it back to me in working order by 1 o'clock today! I would recommend if you need something fixed give them a call!

I went to buy myself a computer at Best Buy a few weeks ago, and I was left feeling a little underwhelmed at their knowledge on the subject. On the other hand, I just went to see Tom today for a repair and left feeling extremely confident in the answers he had to my questions concerning buying a computer and the service he provided me.I have finally found someone I can trust with my electronics, not only is Tom obviously knowledgeable on this issue, he also is super friendly and gave me outstanding service. I would recommend him to anyone with any sort of issues with their electronics!!

Fast, efficient and the person who helped me was kind. Bought a couple cases and one didn’t fit, but not the sellers error, the case was clearly meant to be correct but was moulded from another case resulting in it being slightly under size.Got a screen protector for a good price as well that’s already saved my screen once! (I was in like a week ago.. oops lol)

I've had nothing but the BEST experiences at Tom's Tech Repairs. I most recently brought my iPhone in because I thought it needed a new charging port. Tom diagnosed the problem, spent about 10 minutes cleaning out an embarrassing amount of hardened debris, and then sent me on my way. Tom is great to deal with- honest, professional, patient, reasonable, and trustworthy. I strongly recommend him with your tech repair needs.

I am new to Kingston and not comfortable with the prices of phone repairs here but tommy went out of his way to come to reduce the price since i came in with an extra screen. He really cared about how he could make me happy. Will be going again when i need accessories or any other help.Amazing service! Will be back!

Tom fixed my 15+ year old GameCube. I was trying to play Luigi’s Mansion during Halloween, but the game wasn’t being read. I cleaned the area of the laser and it was a temporary fix, as the game could not be read the following day. I called Tom at SM Gamez and he said he could try readjusting the laser. That seemed to have fixed it, but Tom kept checking the console daily to make sure it was working properly. One day, Tom called me and told me the games were being unable to be read. Tom said that he didn’t want to take my money for his previous services if the console didn’t work, so he wanted to instead pass it on to another technician to do diagnostics. Turns out, the console needed some lubricant.All in all, Tom was very patient and always thinks about the client when doing repairs. If there is anyone who I would recommend for tech repairs, it would be Tom or anyone else at SM Gamez. Thanks, Tom, for your services!

I recently had an issue with my old phone and Tom corrected the problem very quickly. I then purchased a phone he was selling and he helped set everything up for me. I didn’t have to do a thing! This is the place to bring all your devices! Tom was extremely helpful and very skilled at what he does. He was so accommodating and kind. In future, I will definitely see Tom for all my tech needs.

Tom was amazing. Got my phone repaired in 30 minutes and even gave me a student discount because of my financial situation. He was open, honest and efficient. He has a sweet personality and was so great!

Picked up a phone case on Black Friday. Tom threw in a screen protector, cleaned out my phone speakers and it feels like a new phone!HIGHLY recommend.

Excellent repair and customer service! I've brought a few things to get fixed, a switch lite with one joystick broke off and a gameboy game with low battery. Both were fixed in a timely manner for great prices! Highly recommend
