Absolute worst experience flying. United airlines kept us on the tarmac, on board a plane for over two hours which is against FAA regulations, before deplaning us. Then the flight was cancelled due to weather conditions at the destination. United airlines provided zero compensation to put anyone in a hotel for the night. Basically if United doesn't fulfill the service you paid for, they just dump you into the street. I have been in the airport for 13 hours now and am still waiting to catch a flight. The best option they gave me places me two hours from home where I will have to spend around 150 to get an Uber back. They have taken zero responsibility and the employees could care less. I waited over an hour in line to have them tell me they won't do anything. Meanwhile I could have taken a flight home had I not been waiting in line. DO NOT FLY UNITED AIRLINES, I can't stress that enough.

Had a poor United airlines experience so decided to fly American airlines. The American airlines flight was canceled and was put on to an United airlines flight. After getting to Toronto my bag was missing, no one from United at baggage services so left me stranded there.After many calls with baggage claims, 5 days later the bag shows up at my door, lock and zipper broken and anything of value stole. United airlines staff are little thieves and are not to be trusted.

Very bad experience.Plane had a computer issue so it never took off at 1.51 pm from Pearson Airport. Which is a good thing because I am still alive and well. Booked another flight at 9.18 pm. Wanted to leave the airport to go home because I leave near the airport. Had to do customs clearance even though I never even left Toronto. Returned in time for my 9.18 pm flight to find out it was delayed an hour and was now leaving at 10.10 pm. Spent my entire Sunday in the airport waiting for United to get their act together and they never did. Our lives are too short to have to bear the consequences of these airlines mismanaging their aircraft and schedules.

Absolutely worst service ive ever dealt with from an airline. Totally messed up our booking with small children. All the seats were there but they didnt factor in lap infant even though we had made this months in advance. When my wife was trying to get a solution so we wouldn’t miss out flight, the united rep was so rude and berating her as she has a crying infant in her hands. That woman should be fired. I know no one checks these reviews before purchasing tickets, but it is so bad there i wonder if class actio lawsuit is possible. Ill join!

Yesterday we were boarded on time. The moment the airplane closed the cabin doors, we were told that due to a ground stop at Chicago’s O’Hare airport (weather related) we had to wait on the plane due to Canadian airport security restrictions. Fine, make us wait for a valid reason. I have a hard time believing that the crew weren’t aware of the ground stop until we had boarded. We pull away from the airport after about 60 minutes because the ground stop has been lifted. After taxing for 10 minutes were told we have to go back to the gate and be let off until the ground stop is lifted. This is where it went really south. No one could give us clear directions regarding next steps. The ground crew directs us to customer service to rebook our flight as they say we’re likely to miss our connection. In line for an hour and I get on the phone with customer service. They have no clue what’s going on and insist that I was already on my way to Chicago! I eventually ended the call as they seamed to have no clue what was going on. They even suggested that we rebook for a flight leaving Toronto the next day at 5:00pm. Long story short, we wind up on the same plane again and eventually leave Toronto 6 hours later than scheduled (spending over 3 hours of that time stuck on an airplane with almost nothing to eat and thankfully frequent water service). O’Hare was understandably a very busy place. I asked a United agent at the service desk about my checked bag to ensure that is was going to be rerouted to Arkansas (our final destination). While waiting in O’Hare, the gate was changed and not announced, we just barely got on to our connecting flight in time. We get into Arkansas 5 hours late and are glad that we at least made it on the same day we left Toronto. It’s then that I find out that my checked bag wasn’t on the plane with us; it was still in Chicago. The only credit I can give to united is that they found my bag and delivered it to my address in Arkansas late that night. Overall a terrible experience from start to finish. I know the weather is out of the control of an airline. The true test of a company is how they deal with unforeseen situations. In the case of United, they failed miserably.

Staff at checkin area did not seem like they wanted to work. There were a lot of people that looked confused trying to checkin using their machines at Pearson airport. When asked for assistance, they seemed annoy.

Worst experience ever! Poor customer service! Front desk attendants at the Nashville airport were Intentionally unhelpful, truly do not care and acted like my problem is none of their concern, except for one older lady that may be the supervisor. I called their reservation center, a supervisor named Bryan hung up the phone one while trying to find a solution to the issue.My daughter turned 2 years old less than 24 hours before our return flight. And they wouldn’t let us check-in, I even tried buy another ticket on the next flight for the whole family and they couldn’t make a provision for that. No one traveling with a child should go through what happened to me and my family.I ended up buying another ticket at a ridiculous price for the whole family from a different airline. We used more than 16 hours (Should have been 6 hours) traveling from Nashville to Toronto with our 2 years child. She returned home sick from all that stress.I originally gave a positive survey on their website but my experience on the return leg of my trip is more than pathetic. I will never recommend united and I will make sure never to fly with them again.

Horrible customer service at check-in!!! Don’t waste your time uploading vaccination proof online as they need you show it anyway at the check in kiosk. Apparently their systems don’t interchange info with each other. The staff is super rude and simply said “go call United if you have questions”.
