Ottawa Samosa

After having ordered takeout many times, I turned to Ottawa Samosa for catering an event. The food they made was phenomenal with generous portion sizes and very reasonable prices, all combined with great customer service. The attention to detail and flexibility made the process very easy for us to manage. Highly recommend!

I work next door and often come by for samosas when available. When fresh, the meat samosa is very hearty and filling, and when the only option is veggie, the spices help compensate. The staff members are kind and quick to help me get my food and back to work.

Very tasty samosas and had them delivered to our home. They had nice heat to them spice wise and also had a nice sauce. They were also quite big and filling, definitely an appetizer for two or more people. Would order again!

We ordered bulk classic and punjabi samosas and it was pretty expensive compare to the portions we got for $100. Price is not even the issue but still its expensive. We support local business so we waited till Friday to placed the order which was our first time but we are going AVOID OTTAWA SAMOSA AT ALL COST because classic samosas were very bitter that you can not even swallow the first bite so we had to threw all classic samosas away. Classic samosas were not properly fried. Felt like they fried the frozen ones even though we placed order one day ahead. Worst experience ever. I am not even going to talk about the customer service experience.

Good samosas, but I'm giving a low rating because their hours are inconsistent and unpredictable. You cannot trust that they will be open when you want to order. They completely ignore the hours posted on their web site. They've been closed the last few times I wanted to order so I've given up on them. Unreliable.

Came to try some samosas. Was near airport, came from out of town. Drove 20 minutes, and it's a convenience store. They just had veggie/potato samosas. Was disappointed in their selection. The potato samosa is good but average. It's not worth the drive to get one type.

The overall samosas and their quality is really good and nice. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because the samosas seem to be priced on the higher side. It would be great if they lower the prices slightly to allow people to order more.

We ordered some spring rolls, chana and paratha and chicken roll last night. The pratha was soggy, the chana had no spices in it and tasted stale. The spring rolls were overcooked. We woke up the next morning with awful stomach pains.

Best samosas I've found in Ottawa! They're so flavourful, and the price is perfect considering how delicious they are, and how expertly they're made. The first time I was there, I bought 6. Next time, I bought 12. Last time I was there, I bought 20, and put a bunch in the freezer so I wouldn't have to drive out there every time I wanted one! (In case you're wondering, they do freeze well – but of course they're even better when they're freshly made.)
