Love, love, love this place! They were super busy on my visit this week. But it was worth the wait. They always carry the most delightful paper goods and beyond! It's the perfect place to buy gifts for family, friends or yourself! The imported Japanese and German products are always the best quality and oh so beautiful. This trip, I bought the Aunts & Uncles Cherry wallet in Ginger Biscuit (thank you to the staff member who helped with this item!), and a Totoro clothe-bound sketchbook. I highly recommend this shop for all who visit Granville Island!

A great place to buy stationery from! They carry lots of different types of pens and some very interesting things! I loved their eraser eggs!They have a good selection of books as well! Their glass pens for calligraphy especially caught my eyes! They have quite a few leather items as well!The employees are very welcoming and helpful! The prices are a little high though.

Two cool things I recently picked up from Paper Ya are a Baggu lilac puffy fanny pack, and an English translation of Shuna's Journey which is a graphic novel done in beautiful watercolour by Hayao Miyazaki! There is no shortage of beautiful, cool and cute things here. A treasure trove of cool stationary and a great gift shop!!! Don't miss visiting if you go to Granville Island! Love this store!!!

The lineup is always worth the wait at Paperya. The women are absolutely lovely, too. There are so many things to choose from. I love the pens, the journals, the notebooks, the bags, the games, and so much more. I love this little purse I picked up here.

Has a decent selection of stationary and nik naks. The staff who helped me pick out a pen was very helpful and nice. However, the blond girl at the checkout was rude and passive aggressive when I inquired about the price of the item I was paying for. Kinda just made me feel bad about spending my own money. Avoid.
