I would leave zero stars but that is not allowed. We drove an hour to this park to tour their grounds as potential seasonal campers. We were turned away at the gate stating that we needed an appointment. We were not there to do any paperwork. Just a simple drive through the grounds. The owner was very rude and unprofessional.Luck for us though as we found a park with the friendliest, most caring owners ever. And closer to home even.Shame on you. I know people that were at that park for over 30 years rhat have left since you took ownership!

Duttona Family Campground is a trailer park hidden within nature. Differing from your traditional trailer park, the sites at Duttona are nestled between trees and nature, and are spread out throughout a large park. We enjoyed the chatting with the friendly campers, using the park pool, picking up snacks from the shop, watching outdoor movies, and hiking the trail down to the water for amazing views.

We held a large social event at the campground this past weekend and it was a PERFECT venue. Lots of space but also privacy and quiet. We have done this event at several venues over the years but we have finally finished our search!Becky and Bruce were incredible hosts and thought of absolutely EVERYTHING to make the day go smoothly for both me as the host and all our guests - babies, children and adults. We were able to come early to set up - although they had prepared a lot for us before we even arrived, like their event tent and ample pinic seating! When our event ran behind schedule, they had outdoor lighting available to keep things going as well! We were well set up for any weather that came our way. There was lots of parking for the guests and the campground is an easy county drive from St. Thomas or London. We will definitely be back for our 2023 event!

Would not recommend . We were there 35 years as a seasonal campers til new owners took over. Many of us were either asked to leave or chose to leave. Owners only want newer trailers and higher class people. We were asked not to run air conditioners because the park couldn't handle it. They even hung a sign stating this. Hydro was not great. Can't even have visitors without 24hr notice given to park. Our boys grew up in this park and we met some wonderful people throughout the years. None of us ever caused problems, or we would not of lasted for so many years. We all called it our home away from home. All those people left too. So no I would not recommend this park.

My wife and I are in our fourth season (2023) as campers at Duttona Family Campground and have loved it since the first time we arrived! In our first season, there was a lot going on as new owners Bruce and Becky had only purchased it the year before so as you can imagine, a lot of changes were happening and new rules different from before (as we were told) were being created. All of these were for the benefit of the campers and the park for the long-term commitment of all.The park has many very large sites that offer more room than we've seen in many parks we had looked at. They're also setup very differently than your typical bookend style campgrounds that are far too common. Being situated in a beautiful Carolinian forest, the trees offer a lot of shade in most of the sites which is a welcome relief frim the hot summer's sun. Quite a few sites are situated overlooking a deep ravine that is on both sides of the park and offers a spectacular view of the scenery as well as the wildlife and all kinds of different birds and also the small brooks running off into Lake Erie.Bruce and Becky and their family are great people who are always willing to talk to you, and listen to any concerns or suggestions you may have. You can tell their devotion and hard work as you'll always find one or both of them either at the office or working in the park until late in the evening. If you're looking for a unique place to camp overnight, a weekend, a month or stay for the season or three lol, check out this beautiful park, you won't be disappointed!
