This location has a great variety of sweets. It becomes hard to focus when there’s so many sweet treats around you but, who’s to complain about that!The prices are also very reasonable based on selection.While I was there, the female working the counter greeted us upon arrival and was very welcoming. The other thing is appreciated was her business savvy attitude by mentioning popular items from TikTok, which I thought, was very smart on her part as this attracts customers and ensures for fast moving inventory due to the popularity of the items.I highly recommend this location for any sweet gift ideas or for anyone trying to fix their own sweet tooth!

I wasn't overly concerned impressed with the selection, I didn't like how they had Jelly Belly jelly beans in what seemed like self pre-packaged quantities, I would mush rather see a bulk selection instead of paying $3.99 per little bag.

My father is disabled and was able to gain access into the candy shop and have a great time. He also has a vision impairment so one on one service and people explaining things is important and needed for him to still retain independence of shopping for himself. The staff did amazing and I got to hear all about it from him.Thank you so much!

My sister and I were in Sour Me Sweet on July 25th. What a wonderful place! So many different candies and the young girl that was working was a real sweetheart. She was so friendly and engaging. If you come to Halifax make sure you visit!

So many great memories of being a little girl came back to me in this store. Candy I didn’t even remember existed that instantly flooded me with emotion when I saw it. Fabulous 15 minutes spent with family lingering over the delicious memories. If you’re thinking it’s just another Freak Lunchbox, surprise yourself.

This is my fav store of all time!! I used to bring candy home from the US each year. Now that I dont travel you have ALL my favourites here. I love the selection and cant wait to bring my grandkids this summer. You guys rock!!!

You know what every neighbourhood needs? A candy store. And now the North End has an AWESOME one.Sour Me Sweet is a specialty candy store that has a wide range of confections, candy, sodas, snacks, and even gifts.They also have diet soda options!Store is large, bright, and well laid out. They have something for everyone so I'd definitely recommend this place for gift shopping.Prices are good and the owner is super nice ☺️

This is the sweetest sweets spot!!! The store is very well organized, clean, well stocked and adorable. I love going in to buy my favourite candies and others that are really fun and novel. Top marks for customer service and presentation. If you are in Halifax for a visit or just passing through this shop is a fun and yummy detour.

Great addition to the North End! There's so much to choose from that I didn't know where to start!!! I was able to buy pop that I haven't seen since 1985!!! The staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the products. Being gluten free I was worried my choices would be limited but there was a huge selection available. Better yet, they had a list we could reference to find what would be safe for me to buy!!! I also love that they offer a rewards card. Can't wait to visit agian soon!!!

This place is snack-filled magic. Always has the most interesting chips and pop!
