Mahalo Veterinary Hospital
We were very impressed with the amount of card and concern shown to our 14 year old dog. The staff took our concerns seriously and were able to see him quickly. The staff were friendly, professional and knowledgeable which helped turn our worry around and provide him such wonderful care. We appreciate them every time we take our dog here. They are the best!!

Wonderful caring vets and staff! Gave my pup treats and affection to make him feel better after his vaccinations. He was scared but warmed up pretty fast and left happy. The owner took time to come and meet my pup and welcome us!

Dr. Tollman was super nice, caring and informative as well as the Tech we saw first. My baby Mango was treated lovingly without a huge amount of stress.Super happy that we have an Avian/Exotics Veterinarian in Nanaimo!

My little dog Lady had to spend all day at the hospital, and I was worried that she might have been frightened by the experience. Although she was happy to leave with me, she was relaxed and didn't even try to bark at anybody on the way out, so I know that despite all the exams, needle pokes and X-rays, she felt safe, and had a good day. Thank you!

Dr. Miriam guided me through the end of our cat's life. She balanced her assessment and comments with medical facts, personal opinion and support for us as a family. She is refreshingly straight forward and easy to understand. I value her amazing empathy and the insights she has gained through her long career.The whole veterinary team was organized and very kind. They take lots of notes so that if you have to talk to a different vet all the details are already there and you don't have to repeat all the info over again. Very appreciated.

THANK YOU ALL STAFF MEMBERS AT MAHALO. Special thanks to Dr. Myriam & Chris. I had an emergency yesterday with my lab (toxic reaction). Staff were incredible. They spent several hours treating my McGee. I’m very grateful to everyone involved for their professionalism, empathy & on going support during this event. Again. My heartfelt gratitude for all the hard work of everyone at Mahalo. McGee is back to normal.

We were seen on short notice as urgent care. You were kind, professional, treated Marvin amazingly (kind, compassionate and patient). Although it wasn't good news, I couldn't think of a more supportive environment to be in to have that conversation and make the decisions that needed to be made. If there was opportunity to switch over our other two furry family members we would! Even though I know you were swamped with appointments, you never rushed us once and gave us the space and time to process and make sure we were making the best decisions possible for Marvin and our family.
