I called to report a lost wallet. I had travelled from Park Royal to Lonsdale. Did not receive any level of service from the lady on the phone. She definitely was not having a good day, she said we can't help you. you need to talk to the W.V. police." She didn't even say goodbye and immediately transferred me and I ended up being sent to "Jason and Jessica's" voicemail.... Ended up dialling myself."

Failed to investigate a crime by taking no action and not immediately following up on a prime suspect for a break-and-enter, and then justified their incompetence by blaming the victim for not having security cameras. Perhaps racially biased?

RCMP are useless. Had my car broken into and they were absolutely clueless as to what to do about it. With multiple break-ins in the neighbourhood, there were no attempts to catch the criminals. No bait cars, no surveillance, no nothing.They'd rather sit on their asses and point radar guns at people doing 10km over the speed limit and write drinking in public tickets to people crossing the street with a can of beer in their hands. They simply do whatever is easier for them and whatever makes the crown more money. It's disgusting.

each time I have called they have not wanted to help me but have pushed me away and said they can't help. I've been assaulted 2 times in this city, threatened multiple, stalked, and believe it or not physically/emotionally abused by male officers. I can't stand the police and i hate them with a burning passion if you want help go somewhere else for it as these people are useless and refuse to help people but pretend to care.

I got disappointed. I was doing food delivery and I just had postcal code, when I searched I got the home address next to the right one. And the neighbour stole the food l,while I tols him is this the .... order?. Thwn he was telling his kids from balcony that we got a free food. I asked him to return and he said you didn't give me anything!!!!!. I know this is not a crime case but that is a case i see these days a lot in Canada. Stole small things and lie you didn't

Called to report an out of control house party, and police showed up over two hours after the call. By then the party had died down but only after keeping us up all night and after partiers puked, urinated and then trespassed on our property. Calling the police actually made the night worse because we were still up waiting for the police even after the party noise died down. Meanwhile the yahoos got in two more hours of mayhem without interruption, while terrorizing their neighbours trying to sleep. When I called again to report the trespassing, I definitely got a well what do you want me to do about it" kind of response from the dispatch... like I should just roll with the fact of three strange men strolling onto my property in the middle of the night. Hard to stomach my tax dollars going towards this level of service. I realize the police department is juggling multiple priorities and responding to serious crimes too

Re: Lost Volvo V70 yesterday evening - found by an RCMP North Van officer at 135 W 2nd and gratefully picked up by its owner this morning.Clearly we were not paying enough attention to where we found a parking spot after much searching ahead of dinner with family on lower Lonsdale.After searching each of 3rd, 4th & 5th West of Lonsdale after dinner, we failed to search 2nd. We did get much exercise and frustration believingit must have been stolen.We are extremely grateful to the officer who cruised that territory; found the car, and gave us its location.with much appreciation fromBurke Corbet 150 24th St, West Van

For 9 months I have been trying to resolve an amendment with my Criminal Records with the North Vancouver RCMP. The issue has not been that they refuse to do it. The issue is that they ignore inquiries and messages, clearly hoping that it would just go away.I have been escalated through the rankings of the RCMP and have experienced incompetence and lies at every step. Specifically, the person assigned to help me has been Sargent Rick Brown, who has repeatedly ignored my messages for 9 months. When by some sheer miracle, I happen to get a hold of him, he lies about getting back to me within 24 hours, and disappears for 2 months.What else does one expect from their local police department, aside from laziness and incompetence. They wear a badge with pride and boast about being the police authority, but in reality bring shame to the municipality they are supposed to serve.
