I am just starting my diving journey and Kevin has put me at ease with his knowledge and skills. I was a bit nervous going into this and was very surprised that after only a few lessons I am feeling so much more confident . Thank you Kevin for your patience with me and I hope that you continue to share your talent with me.

Great Instructor!I had a great experience obtaining my SSI OWD certification last month January 2020. My personal instructor Kevin was very professional, kind, patient and awesome. He was very detailed when it comes to teaching all the drills and skills.And now, I'm also a very proud certified PADI AOW diver because of Kevin. A great instructor, very knowledgeable and with vast experience. Kevin teaches more than just surviving underwater, he teaches how to be a responsible diver beyond one's self but responsible for marine life as well. I am now confident for my future dives because I learned from one of the best.If you want to learn diving, Kevin Ausman is the right Instructor you should look for. Kevin Ausman certified myself, my wife as well as my two children 10 and 13 just a few weeks ago in the Philippines. In the space of 10 days he brought my eldest, my wife and I to the level of advanced divers while the 10 year old, for age reasons, stayed at open water level. In the course of our training Kevin also took our 8 year old son diving as part of the “bubbles” program (with a regulator but to a max depth of 2 meters, great joy ride for the kids). All I can say, is that we cannot wait to dive with Kevin again. He was amazing in teaching us safety and respect for the sea, while letting us savour and experience all the joy of diving in nature. We all feel totally secure in the water because Kevin made it feel like a totally natural thing to do.In particular I want to recommend Kevin for folks who are thinking of bringing their kids into this great sport. Kevin’s experience as an educator showed in spades in how he handled my kids through this experience. One example to prove the point. In one of our dives, my 10 year old had and encounter with a jelly fish that stung him. We surfaced (it was really early in the dive and we hadn’t descended beyond 3 meter yet) and my son was distraught and wanted to interrupt the dive and “go back”. Kevin was awesome in giving my son Miki time to work through his angst and experience, take time to calm down, deal with the pain and then make the decision - all by himself - to continue the dive. Soon the pain was forgotten with the excitement of the dive, but most of all both my wife and I were in awe of just how gentle and respectful Kevin was of our child’s predicament, without giving into the easy solution to let him call off the dive.Miki that day learnt more than taking a mask off at depth.I would have given Kevin more stars... what I can say is that the day my son Viktor turns 10, I will be looking for Kevin to make him an open water diver.Enjoy the greatest sport in the world!

WOW 5+ STARS!Kevin has done it started his own diving training center. I met Kevin in 2017 on a diving trip to Mexico were we were teamed up because the dive center knew we both were addicted to diving and as it was unlimited shore diving and the dive center knew we would be in the water more than on the land.I knew the story behind the first diving center Kevin signed up with to do his instructor course and they took his money and asked him to leave the course because he didn’t understand the PADI system. After having trained with Kevin I was blown away with the ignorance of this dive center as I knew Kevin was an amazing student and diver.It took a lot of courage to continue moving forward after this experience with this dive center many would have given up but not him. I heard he did extremely well on the second IDC but that does not surprise me at all as I have know him to be a great diver very aware of every situation and helpful on any dive I have done with him.I wish his dive center the very best and know he is going to make a serious mark in the area as his training if it is anything like the martial arts he teaches it’s going to be in serious demand. I look forward to dropping in when I’m in the area and doing some DM with him.Hey Kevin thoughts about making me an instructor as well need another diver??

Had a chance to dive with Kevin last summer and I cant wait to take more training at his new dive center.Kevin is a great diver and even better instructor. Thanks for the awesome experience I will be definatly going again this summer with him!!

It is a privilege and a great opportunity to have met Mr. Ausman. He paved the way to bringing in scuba as one of the services we could offer to our clients and at the same time promoting tourism to both local and international markets.We organized our first batch of students which he himself handled for he is both a PADI and SSI instructor. All our students gave positive feedbacks on his teaching skills, professionalism and knowledge in scuba. Currently we are organizing two groups of students for him to manage this year which is almost full.We are so happy to have this business venture with you Kevin and we look forward to hopefully have your Canadian students come and dive here in the Philippines.

I had the opportunity to meet Mr. Ausman at a dive center here in the Philippines while he was here working as a Dive Master. I had always wanted to scuba dive however I have issues with one of my ears. I had tried scuba diving a couple times and the instructors got upset I could not go under very fast.I found the whole process very frustrating and being from the Philippines I really wanted to try it and not give it up. Mr. Ausman made me a promise that I could do a few discover Scuba until I felt comfortable enough to actually do the SSI open water course.Well just a couple months ago I was certified Open Water Diver under SSI and honestly it was an amazing journey. The drills and the skills were fun under Judokaa Scuba and I know I have been trained extremely well.Mr. Ausman went much further than I would have ever expected an instructor to do and took all the time in the world to assure I felt comfortable in the water before we even really started with the scuba skills.I’m extremely proud of my open water certification but I feel even better knowing I have more than the skills required to be safe and comfortable in any conditions I might encounter diving here in the Philippines.THANKS KEVIN!!!!!!! You were right anyone can learn to dive!!!

I know Kevin through martial arts as I run a dojo in the Port Perry area and he took me on to teach me scuba. I was extremely impressed with the time he took to go over everything from the gear to the skills.After he was done I knew I was going to be extremely safe diving and it felt great. I was also impressed I had the chance to do it under two different agencies and as I will be diving in Cuba I took the SSI road.Thanks Kevin your instruction was the very best and while I think you should be teaching Karate in your dojo your scuba training is not in question.Thanks for assuring I will be very safe diving in Cuba now!!!

I know Kevin for a while, I remember the first time he show up at Coco Diving Center, at Tryp Cayo Coco Hotel, I advice him to take the Deep Diving Specialty, we follow the course and a month after he was back to us, them we began a path that took him straight to where he is now, Scuba Instructor from both, SSI & PADI, I was there at his 100, 200, 250 and train him up to SSI Assistant Instructor. Proud of you Kevin, never stop to Dream, only dreamers rich their goals!!!

Kevin is an amazing person and an outstanding instructor. He has both the patience and dedication to insure you are taught right the first time; while making the experience for the student enjoyable.Diving with Kevin will open a whole new world and you will walk away know you are part of a new diving family, one you can always fall back on.Keep it up big guy..
