Ellen's Pet Care

Ellen did a wonderful job of grooming our boy. She took great care of him and he enjoyed his time there! He went in looking like an adorable muppet, and came out looking like a sleek “lion” cut. We are so happy with this cut.

Absolutely horrible experience. I had booked an appointment for 11am and had to wait till 11:20 for my cat’s grooming appointment to begin. Before she started, I clearly told her I want my cat’s fur to be trimmed to 1centimeter. She did a shoddy job, absolutely uneven cut! At the end on asking her to trim the fur more, she lied saying I had told her to keep the fur 1 inch in length. Nowhere does centimetre and inch sound the same that she could have even misheard. The job done is so bad that my cat has long fur on his front legs and short fur on his back legs. On top of it, there is no ventilation in her shop, not even a fan and it was sweltering inside in this heat making the entire ordeal for my cat even more traumatic. She had other customers waiting and was in a rush to move on to the next cat. So much so that she told me to book another appointment and get him for another fur cut- when I am paying you full money for a trim, why should I have to book another appointment & pay you again for a job that you should’ve done right the very first time. Also, she tells me to get him shaved the next time as that’s easier for her. Wow! Will I look at what is easy for her or what my cat is more comfortable with? If that’s the case then she should outrightly claim that her services only offer shaving and not fur trim! If you love your cat even a little bit and don’t want him to look like a clown then avoid this place.

I’ve had four small Maltese-mix dogs. Ellen had groomed them all. She is gentle and calm with each dog. I will always take my dogs here for TLC. They come home looking and smelling beautuful!

Ellen is a lovely lady and excellent groomer. Does a great job and obviously loves her clients.

We have been going to her for years. After Bubba passed and we decided to get Bella Marie. We only thought, felt secure and the sevices of Ellen's. She moved but we found her. Our dog loves it there. She is so great with the pets! I'm gonna see how my cat will don't here also!

Tried this spot since my regular groomer moved away. Ellen and her team are so calm and gentle and they do a great job.My unruly springer spaniel got a puppy for cut for summer and I was very pleased with the attention to detail. Price was very reasonable for downtown and it was fast to get an appointment. I’ll definitely go back.

Both ladies that groom here (Ellen and Rochelle) are very experienced, gentle with our fur babies, super sweet and extremely reasonably priced. I have nothing negative to say about either one of them, trust me when I say that you can feel comfortable dropping off your fur baby with one or both of the ladies. Give them a try I promise that you won't regret it and you will become a regular.

My cat does not like being brushed and as a result developed a lot of mats so we decided to bring her here to get a lion cut to give her a fresh start. She is NOT a friendly cat or easy to work with, so I was very pleased with what Ellen’s was able to do for her! Would definitely come back.

Ellen does an excellent job. She handles my dog with separation anxiety very well. She knows how I like him to look and delivers a consistent professional cut every time.
