You’re literally dining on the water, which is pretty cool. I saw a swan swim by. This restaurant is located right by the water next to Pajo’s Fish & Chips in Steveston (Richmond). My favourite dish was the Citrus Tiger Prawn. It’s deliciously buttery, and paired with perfectly sautéed onions. Braised Pork & Abalone was on the sweet side, and I wish it was paired with some sort of starch dish (eg. rice or noodles).Rich crab & seafood flavour in the spaghetti. It doesn’t look like much but it was pretty good. XLB is EXTRA creamy topped with the uni on top.I went during a special grand opening promo (set menu), so I’m honestly not sure what the prices were. After looking at their menu a few weeks later, I realized it is a bit pricy. You do have to consider the fusion style and uniqueness of the experience though. I can’t really comment on the service since I went when they were super new, so it is totally understandable that their staff weren’t fully trained/ready yet.My order:Xiao Long Bao with Uni (6pcs)Braised Pork & AbaloneCitrus Tiger PrawnReal Crab Meat Spaghetti

Food is hands down better than the service. Low energy and not very knowledgeable of the menu. Had the real crab meat XLB and the gin lavender drink which was good. XLB wrap was a bit too thick for my liking but a neat experience.

Came here on a Sunday for late lunch. We thought it might be busy so made reservations for 2pm. Finding parking was difficult and wasn’t expecting it to be so busy but should have known. Walked in and it wasn’t too busy, maybe 3 other tables. The staff was very nice and seated us by the window. The location is very cute right on the water. Loved the ambience and vibe. Made me feel like I was somewhere else. The menu looks really cool with a bunch of dishes. It would be a great place to go with friends or family especially if some of them are not as adventurous (kids maybe) or into Asian dishes. There’s fish and chips, chicken burger, calamari etc— something for everybody. We came for the Asian dishes. The menu is in English and Chinese and had some pictures. You use a erasable marker so there’s no confusion. Very nice.Had the Salted Egg tofu shrimp with rice, real crab Shanghai noodle and XLB with Uni. The salted egg dish was very nice and comforting. The real crab noodle was delicious and silky smooth as well. The XLB was a great size and tasted amazing. It wasn’t too hot and didn’t burn my tongue like most, I really appreciated that.I thought that the food was nice. The pricing is not bad for sure— considering the vibe and overall experience. I had no complaints. It’s good for a new experience or maybe a date.

The view and atmosphere are great, food is decent, a little bit pricey, avoid the beef curry toast unless you enjoy Thai curry, the deep fried intestine is better than expected.

TL;DRSaw a lot of spiders by the window, pricey food, wasn't amazed.Read on their website that the chef was a celebrity and that the restaurant was floating on the water -- seemed like a nice date idea. They also had a special on salted egg crab for $20 less than menu price this day (mooncake season)Got there, there were spiders clinging on the window (outside) by almost every table. Being irrationally hateful of spiders, this gave negative points for me. The server was apologetic and tried to help with this by closing the window as I saw one trying to climb in. Maybe they just haven't cleaned the outside recently?Decided to stay, hoping the food was amazing while wondering how many are actually inside. I'll end my rant here.Decided to try the uni xiaolong bao, crispy duck, and the salted egg prawn and tofu dish.XLB itself seemed good, but the uni on top was almost tasteless and had that unwanted uni taste (like it wasn't fresh). Can't remember price, around $12-16?The crispy duck was dry and didn't get much of the crispy skin. It came with 4 wraps that were cold (not steamed like most other Chinese restaurants. The duck itself seemed more like it was deep fried, so don't expect Peking duck-style ~$35The salted egg and tofu+prawn was decent, was not too salty which I liked. Wish it had stronger salted egg flavor though. It had strong notes of ginger and green onion. ~$23Total ran around $70-75 before tips.Am I being generous? Should the review be closer to 小伴?

Overall is good, I know the chef from Go Fridge is Chinese cooking show. The environment of the floating restaurant looks classic. Servers are friendly. We ordered XLB with Uni, 1/2 Signature Meatlover platter(needs 30mins or more)and Foir Gras, Black Truffle Wagyu Beef Meatball&Veggie Tempura, also Sakura Mojito for my mom. Taste’s not bad, but a little overpriced.

The food was very okay. Not sure if its because they were closing the location to move or its their standard. The duck was very dry and hard. Crab had barely any meat, rice bowl was mediocre. Service was great though. A lot of the items were unavailable and the server was very apologetic.

When their with friends couple days agoand tried their dinner set menu. The blue fin tuna was my favourite. The sauce and everything put together was perfect. Decoration for the restaurant is good for pictures. Would definitely recommend this place.

Location is good. Music is great. Food looks good but taste bland for me and my family- we ordered cod fish and chips. The Shanghai noodle with crab meat taste delicious but very small portion (even for 1 person) for $25 price tag.We used to enjoy this place for crabs dishes however when they changed the name or management maybe... it's different now. ;-(
