I have been to lighthouse bistro a few times before but this visit was absolutely ridiculously horrible. It all started with our obviously disinterested waitress, Christen. We asked to switch seats to see the view and were told it's against their policy to have people sitting on the part of patio with a nice view so close to closing time. Then our drink order took 20 mins to get to us, the food was terrible the quality of food has dropped to an abysmal level, overpriced with low quality ingredients. Closed early and as google was updated a week ago by owner stating closing time was 9 but they were sending people away at 745. We were not told it was last call had to over hear it from another waitress who seemed to be more interested in going home then helping customers. And add insult to this night out watched someone wait 20 mins to be seated to get his drink comped so he would leave. Tourist be aware not worth the time, money or energy.

Was so excited to try their mussels and clams but was utterly disappointed. The quality was unbelievably bad. The actual meat of the mussels were shriveled up to almost nothing (aka not fresh at all). Pretty much all the mussels and clams were like this, except for maybe one or two that was relatively bigger (but still tiny) at the size of a dime. The sauce was also way too salty , probably to cover up the fact that it was old seafood and had no freshness taste whatsoever. Probably the worst mussels I've ever had, much worse than the frozen ones you can get at the grocery store.Service was ok though. The good view was probably the only thing worth the money.

Closest Bus Stop - Bastion at Skinner!!Beautiful Location and a lovely place ! Can definitely see the waterfront with a few boats and ferries ! We just came over to see someone we know perform here! The food is definitely on the pricy side but is good !Overall would recommend to with a family or your significant other

Beautiful view, food was OK/good. A little bit costly, but you're actually paying for the Nice view and the great patio spot. Beer is cold! Nice place to enjoy one. I would go again. The meal on my pictures is the beef dip. Beef sandwich with onions and mushrooms, with a beef dip and a choice of fries or salad.

Awesome little place with great atmosphere! I have celiac disease and can’t eat gluten without fear of being incredibly ill. Our server (who’s name I can’t remember for the life of me) was an incredibly friendly young man with wicked cool tattoos. He informed me that although they didn’t have a gluten free menu he would make sure that my husband and I had a safe and delicious gf meal. Boy did he deliver, he even spoke to the kitchen to ask them to be careful during prep. We had very yummy gf cajun chicken burgers on gf buns with a fresh garden salad. Overall, it wasn’t the most amazing food I’ve ever had, but it was tasty, I didn’t get sick, and the service was BEYOND STELLAR! The patio also has an incredible harbour view. We will for sure go back on our next trip!

Food was good, service was ok. When they were there, the waitresses were friendly and welcoming. But I saw very little of them. I was on the patio and did not see how many were inside, but after taking my drink order, I did not see a waitress again for 20 mins when my pop came out. Food was another 20+ minutes and I was only offered a refill once. The first and only check in was when I was already done my beef dip. The two waitresses did seem a bit rushed so they may have been short staffed. They were great, just wish I’d seen a bit more of them.

After having a difficult time trying to find a decent place to eat, my hubby and I found ourselves at the lighthouse bistro. There wasn’t very many people, so we were uncertain at first, but with excellent service and good food the evening was great. Our server Teagan answered all my dietary/allergy questions and helped my hubby find a great drink to go with his seafood dish. She was very kind and made the restaurant feel very welcoming. We will definitely be coming back! Top notch, I’ll be sharing this with my book club.Thank youGoodbye

Fish Tacos were very tasty. Seafood Chowder was good although had been looking for Clam Chowder. Great service and entertaining location as you can watch the boats, ferry, and seaplanes come and go as well as other harbour activities.

Food was really good, service was good considering there was only one server. After paying, we got up to leave and the waitress mentioned that I has only tipped out the kitchen and not her. I told her I wasn't from 'here' as we were on vacation and I wasn't sure how they tipped out (as we don't usually tip out kitchen where I'm from) and I apologized and offered to tip her. She wasn't rude, but she wasn't overly nice about it. I left feeling extremely embarrassed and sad. She did it in front of everyone in the pub. We just put another bill on the table and left.I loved the food, and views, but my experience was a little tainted from that.I'd recommend this place though, it's cozy and the food was good.
