Okanagan Clinical Counselling Services

I have had the great pleasure and benefit of having Okanagan Clinical Counselling Services with student intern Mykhaylo (Mike) Petrynyak over the past few months. He has been a strong reasurance in my complicated life. Mykhylo is more than a good listener. He sincerely understands the complications life presents. Thiis is apparent through his interactive conversations and ability to provide positive direction and understanding. His knowledge and obvious thorough research was very helpful by being able to provide relevant articles to help me continue on a positive path. I would recommend Mykhaylo (Mike) to any of my friends and colleauges experiencing difficulties in relationships, stress, depression, anxiety, abuse, and/or grief. He has a talent for providing appropriate guidance toward finding solace in complicated situations.

I had Cassie Hager as my counselor while going to OK Clinical. She was absolutely amazing. I had struggled for so long to find someone I was able to connect with and feel comfortable enough to talk about the things I really needed to talk about. She always made me feel heard, and worked hard at helping me find solutions to the things I couldn't do on my own. I was able to take away a lot from our sessions and gained so much tools to use in my day to day life. I was so sad when she ended her time at OK Clinical, but again I was with her for a while and she helped me more than I thought was possible through therapeutic services.

Don is a really great counselor. The EMDR treatments have really changed my life and I highly recommend trying out for anyone with addiction, post traumatic stress or just anything really in general. He’s a great listener and the treatments really helped! I’ve been able to deal with a lot of issues from the past and have resolved how they’ve been negatively impacting my life.

As an employee, working with Nicole has felt like such a safe, encouraging, positive experience. She is deeply knowledgeable, goes out of her way to care for her team, and makes us feel like we can achieve our goals. So grateful for her and her commitment to this work - she has made healing accessible to so many more.
