We went to Lowe’s to do a kitchen renovation.Lowes uses Comptoirs 2000 or countertops 2000 to tear out and install. The day finally came for the job to start Karl and Gilles arrived right on time as expected and were very respectful and professional.Two days and the cabinets were all installed we couldn’t be more satisfied.the next day someone came to template the countertops. Twelve working days later Jason and Terry came to install the countertops again very professionalWe have been very satisfied with the work that was done in our house.It has no doubt raise the value of our home. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to do kitchen renovations.

Do not do business with this company. The installers and measurement staff are French speaking and can’t speak English. One installer could talk a little in English. Impossible to have an effective discussion. The result was a disaster. The quartzite was not cut correctly. After another try, they broke a key piece. Now we had to accept a non matching piece to finish the job. It gets better, the quartzite we bought cost $140/sqft. 25% of the install had to be completed with a lower grade quartz that was around $80/sqft. And, they refused to provide a refund on the lower cost. Apparently they were doing us a favour for a small job of $7000. Nice. These guys are not who you should do business with. We have a compromised install that took 7 weeks to get completed.Stay away from this company

We bought countertops from Comptoire 2000 through Costco in August. Our job was complex, and not without issues. However the installers, especially Sébastien, did an amazing job at making sure the final product was perfect. Thank you, Seb, for the follow-up care after installation, and for your patience, perseverance and attention to detail in getting things to fit just right during the installation.

Thanks for ruining our Christmas comptoirs 2000.Very very disappointed with comptoirs 2000. We recently built a house and were shopping around for a countertop. We found the one we wanted at Lowe’s. We inquired about it and the Lowe’s employee told us to contact comptoirs 2000 to see about installation date. I contacted the company and was told by the fabricator ‘Dominic’ that they have a promotion. If I was to prepay at Lowe’s before November 30th the countertop ( Quartz) would be installed before Christmas. I asked about 3 times on the phone to make sure as we needed the countertop to move into the house before Christmas. He guaranteed as long as I prepaid before November it would definitely be installed before Christmas, even though the measure wasn’t scheduled until the week after. I rushed into Lowe’s to pay. Once the measure was done( which was measured wrong) they didn’t even insert the sink to measure, anyways, we were told our install date would be January 17. Paid November 30th but could not be installed before the 17th. I was livid. Now they claim the measure had to be done before the 30th of November. Convenient. So even though I was guaranteed install before Christmas if the counter was paid for it was not going to be installed. So given the date paid and date to future install - 7 weeks. Wow. After emailing a few times back and forth, they just completely ignored our emails. If we would have known, we would definitely not have went with this company. Also impossible to reach anyone other than reception on the phone. Seems to me they just wanted to meet quota for 2018 and guaranteed installs before Christmas knowing full well it was a lie. Not even a sorry.DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Great place for anyone, whether a contractor or a do-it-yourselfer, to find just the right countertop. Incredible selection and good deals on remnants. Really friendly bilingual service and quick response in providing estimates. Based on what my wife said, shout-out to Josianne for outstanding service.

We had our countertops done with comptoir 2000 and the service from start to finish was excellent. We had them measure, cut and install seeing as our countertops are a custom shape and are very happy with the final results. Process is easy and relatively quick. I recommend them!

We went through lowes Kingston. Phoned us a few days before the install and said they dropped our granite slab that we specifically picked out in Ottawa! Countertop was installed with 1/4 in gaps in some seams, I couldn't even get my stove back in because the countertops were two different heights!. The sink cutout was not templated properly and we can not get our inserts in the sink. We paid for a bottle of bullet proof sealer for the stone and never got it, they said they put it on after cutting it at the shop, come to find out the rep said they didnt and we've been using the countertop for 3 weeks! Still waiting for a second guy to try to come fix this mess. Absolutely the worst countertop company to deal with do not buy from lowes if they deal with this company!!!

Responsive a quick to get the countertops delivered. But made mistakes, slightly off on measurements. Finishing touches on installation were poor, silicone all over the countertop and around sink. Found a chip on an edge and two front facing edges were unpolished. Quality control lacking. Not cheap so not particularly satisfied. Not good enough.

UPDATE:After cancelling our project due to granite supplier's fault (see Original comment at the bottom), attempting to re-start it with a different unreliable fabricator, the project has been started over and successfully finished by Comptoirs 2000. (See pictures bellow)There were many technical difficulties along the way.Best results in this world never can be achieved easily, and ability to handle the problems makes the difference between a real professional to a newbie.Comptoir 2000's guys were handling every challenge in this project professionally, reliably and patiently. The total cost and the end result haven't disappoint our expectations.My wife and I are very happy with the end result.Would highly recommend Comptoirs 2000 and will definitely considerthis fabricator in our future renovation projects.Philippe, Shanie, Verinique and all the installers crew - THANK YOU VERY MUCH! YOU ALL MAKING GREAT JOB!!!!ORIGINAL COMMENT.My wife and I got very positive impression.Things were handled very friendly and highly professionally - everything: pre-sales, measuring, customer service, faults handling.Unfortunately we had to cancel the project due to the Masterpiece - their granite supplier's fault, who sold the unique slab that was selected and prepaid by us.We've got fully reimbursed and frankly I regret that their partner (Masterpiece) has ruined that project. This company is reliable and professional.Overall the impression was very positive. Comptoirs2000 is an excellent company for all your countertops requirements. They have excellent staff, professional installers, and perform quality craftsmanship.
