Rude staff and they don't measure or pin pants to be hemmed despite the door saying alterations". I don't know how you do alterations without measuring. Her explanation was that they don't do the alterations at the location

Stay away!!! Horrible experience. Left 4 shirts for cleaning. Picked them up last week. Noticed today when putting one on that 2 had a huge rip. Both shirts exactly the same spot (see the picture). Went back to the place today. Older lady was extremely rude. Didn’t even want to discuss this. Said the rips were there before! Didn’t want to discuss any refund! I said I was never coming back she said ‘that’s fine’ shrugging her shoulders. Each shirt was $80. Strongly recommend against doing business with them.

I been to this place since they opened. I wish their hours would be extended to later in the day for us office workers(after 5pm). But so far no complaints. Excellent service, pricing and quality.

I will never set foot in a Sketchley store in this area again (the owner of this location owns four stores across KW). I brought a suede coat in for cleaning in January and asked for a small tear in the coat to also be repaired. I paid over $100 to clean the coat and the associate said she would include a note requesting the repair. I was advised that the coat would need to be sent to Toronto because they can’t clean suede anywhere in KW or Cambridge and that this service takes a month. I agreed that was ok.Over a month later, the associate called to say that no work had been done on the coat and that I could either have the coat sent back and receive a refund or wait at least another month for the coat to be cleaned. I decided to wait the additional month, rather than send the coat back.When I picked the coat up well over a month later, the coat had not been repaired. When I inquired about the repair, I was told that the coat would need to be sent to Cambridge because there are no seamstresses left in KW and that she’d need to verify that the seamstress could repair suede. I left the coat and a few days later the associate called to say that the work could be done, but I’d need to pay an additional $20 for the repair. I replied that I should receive the repair for free due to the lack of overall customer service I’d received. The associate asked if I wanted to call the owner at the plant he was working at to make my request. I made it clear that asking me to call the owner at a plant he was working at was poor customer service and that she should make the call on my behalf and get back to me with a response. She said she wasn’t going to call the owner again because she had just spoken with him. When I insisted that she own the customer service, she said she’d leave a note for the owner.Fast forward almost a week later with no follow-up call, I went into the store and explained the situation to a different (and very kind) associate. She called the owner and explained that I’d had a very unpleasant customer experience (her words) and pleaded my case. She asked the owner if he’d like to speak directly to me. Knowing that I was standing there in the store, he refused. After a few more minutes, the associate again asked him to speak to me. When I came on the phone, the owner curtly launched into immediately saying that I had only paid for cleaning, not for repairs. When I said I had requested the repair when I originally left the coat and that the associate had said she’d write a note, the owner replied that he’d need to inquire with the associate to find out why the note was never written. By this point I had it with this owner’s disregard for customer care and told him I’d be taking my business elsewhere.While I was in the store, another customer came into the store and was livid (her words) because she dropped her clothes off at a completely separate location across town. Her clothes were sent to a new location across town. When she dropped her clothes off, she was never told that her clothes would be sent to a different location and that she’d be expected to pick them up from there.

This was my second and last time I’ll be in this store. My wife dropped off my suit on a Thursday morning for dry cleaning. She asked for it to be express. The lady said it will be ready on Saturday after 4 pm. I needed the suit for Monday morning. I went at 4:10 on Saturday, only to find the store closed. So I went on Monday to pick up my suit, I asked the lady why was it that she told my wife and also on the receipt that the suit will be ready for Saturday. She said I never said that. I told her then why did the receipt say that it would be ready for Saturday, she said it the computer that does that and she can’t control it. She rudely denied everything and blamed my wife. She never apologized to anything. When I said that I’ll never be in her store again and I’ll be writing a review, she replied it’s up to you.Really bad costumer service.

All our dry cleaning done at this location, for many years, never had a problem! Excellent work, superior customer service, friendly staff!

Bad experienced, doesn't clean good plus with poor customer service. It destroyed my suit with wrinkles and instead of clean the spot, they bring new spots.

First and last time using their services. I brought in a beautiful, full length, vintage suede coat in great condition hoping to have it cleaned. Weeks went by with no response, and after calling multiple times I was finally told that my coat was lost and that I would have to contact another company for compensation.Some time later I went to Sketchley's to request a refund for the cleaning service that was, to my knowledge, never done. Upon arrival I was told that i would not receive a refund because the coat had in fact been cleaned, but it had been destroyed in the process.I didn't end up getting a refund for the cleaning, or compensation for the coat. On top of that I had been mislead for weeks. First I was told that the coat required special care, next that it had been lost, and finally that it had been damaged beyond repair (although I never got my damaged coat back or pictures for proof).big thumbs down
