Food was alright. They have a broad selection of grilled meats and seafood. Menu is in Chinese only. No English menu available. At least not yet. No official drinks menu but they do have beers, cocktails, and soda.Had the Dino ribs, skewers, squid, toast, and clams. Heavy on the cumin seasoning and salt. Even the toast had the same seasoning. Value is alright. Spice level really varies depending on what's ordered.Service is a bit unorganized. Didn't seem like there were any sectioned areas. We had to grab the attention of whoever looked our way. Some staff just intentionally looked away when we looked at them. Not cool.They have candles under the grill pans to keep the skewers warm after they're delivered. Weren't lit when we went but they just looked like Ikea wax candles. Didn't look to be food safe so it's better that they weren't in use.Decor is IG friendly like most new restaurants. Twinkle lights, wood faux structures, BBQ signage. It's like a Western store juxtaposed in an Asian country.Plenty of BBQ skewer options in Richmond to choose from. Won't be our top pick but might return after they work through the start up jitters.

A popular spot in china and now they have a location in Richmond. Being a northern style chinese bbq this place is definitely a place to check out. Modern interior and loud music will cater to the younger population. Service is friendly and they change your plates as well.

To celebrate my hubby's birthday the other day, we visited here for dinner. The restaurant is not spacious and seats are limited, but the decorations are very cute.We ordered a lot of stuff, including assorted skewers, grilled chicken rack, grilled corn, teppan grill squid shall, etc. Most dishes are above the average, and I personally recommend lamb skewers and squid. Both of us enjoyed a feast of meat.Service was okay and price was reasonable. Free parking in the plaza.

This restaurant is amazing! Their service is fast and their food is out of this world. My favorite dish was the spicy bread on a stick seasoned with some spices, it tasted super special and different in a good way.

The place is quite small and waiting time can be an issue. But we didn’t take long to get seated. However, the skewers take so long. lile almost 20-30 mins. So awkward waiting for such a long time and there is no food on the table. The taste is good but the portion is too too small for a price they charged. I rather go to that one restaurant on Granville called “Meat Up.” I prefer that restaurant over this one. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant and wouldn’t come back again for skewers. It will just be my one time experience. This restaurant has a booth at the night market so if anyone wants to try their skewers, probably the night market will be the best option.

Great new restaurant. Super delicious and fun place to hang out as a group. Would recommend to make reservations early for the room as a group so you can order the big platters and eat more!

I’ve been going to the old / original locations for years, and so excited they finally opened again. The food was good and the atmosphere is so cute!

The skewers, fried rice and chicken wings are delicious! I can't wait to go back and try other food on their menu. I just hope they have the menu on English version though. I definitely recommend this place.

I'm surprised how some of these local guides give it 5 star for food....the atmosphere is great, and photo worthy. Nice renovations and vibe. However, the food is quite different from it's old shop. Maybe they lost the old chef...now about the food.Lots of flavor and bbq is grilled properly. In fact so much flavor that the food feels overly seasoned and everything has too much sauce. The first few bites are great, but near the end everything is too salty. Those with high blood pressure beware. After a few hours my taste buds are still bitter....I haven't had this feeling in a long time at other established bbq places...科技与狠活. I should have taken my first cue on the sip of the water...the water had a funky taste to it (could be new equipment taste or something).For this price I was hoping better quality...but the lineups from young people are there and management doesn't have a reason to improve as there are flocks of people coming.I'll revisit this place in a year or two. I hope they improve...you can probably pull this off in other cities, but you have good competitors in Richmond and the local's taste buds are seasoned to high quality food and cooking. Please less of the fake stuff!!
