Went out to dinner with my husband on a Saturday night here. I had the Gnocchi Verde and he had the Steak Frites. The Gnocchi is some of the best I’ve ever had, though the portion was small. The steak might disappoint you if you’re particular about how you like your steak cooked.The view was beautiful! We even had a lovely feline visitor making friends with the dinner guests which was actually such a lovely surprise during our evening.However, even if you’re on the patio, your chance at getting a good view is hit or miss! You might get seated somewhere where you can’t see the water at all.Nonetheless, the food was tasty and the service was decent. A good experience!

The back patio where we enjoyed a pint and a spicy margarita had a wonderful view of the lake with the waves crashing on the shore. Light music in the background which was appropriate for the time of day and the crowd that was present.Great experience.

I really wanted to LOVE the Drake. I had been to the restaurant before and decided to splurge on another vacation because I liked the location so much. I booked at the Inn, not realizing that it was not in the main building and not on the water at all. My fault I know but I really thought that I would get something great for the $430 a night price tag. Turns out the Inn faces the meat market. Our room was a box, literally, with no windows that opened, an old A/C unit that made a raquette, bathroom was behind a glass so smell and noise was part of the room atmosphere. The mattress was comfy but the bed was not made well. TV was not working well and luckily was fixed by the very kind person working at the front desk. Looked pretty but it was clear that no one actually lived it long enough to realize it's discomfort. The night time cookies were the best part of the room. Coffee in the morning was lukewarm. The restaurant is great! Food is delicious and local. Staff are professional, kind and great. Mckenzie was amazing and gave us great wine recommendations and a perfect list of vineyards to visit. Massages are not worth it. After checkout I had 5 random charges on my credit card amounting to over $1000. Called, no answer, called again, left a message, no call back. Finally reached a human, was kind, had no answer, said I would get a call back, I never did. Charges disappeared after a couple of days... I am shocked at the price the Drake charges for what they offer. I will never rent a room there again and highly suggest you skip the room and just go for the restaurant, THAT will not disappoint!

My husband and I stayed this long weekend. Although we had some initial challenges with our reservation, I must say the level of care and professionalism shown by all the staff we encountered to make our weekend wonderful was really appreciated. Property was beautiful and the food was delicious but the staff here really sets the Drake Devonshire apart, everyone was so helpful and kind. Patricia, Bailey and Connor - thank you so much! We definitely will be visiting again.

What a lovely spot to enjoy a meal! The food is delicious and the service is wonderful. We had dinner there and will definitely be back for brunch because the menu looks wonderful! There's also a beautiful view and a great cocktail menu if you just want a drink (you might change your mind when you smell the food).

My recent visit to Drake Devonshire was a huge letdown. Not only did they forget to cook our main courses, but the service was absolutely terrible. I want to share my experience so others can avoid this disappointment.The service at this restaurant was a complete disaster. The front greeters were pleasent and quick to get us seated. The actual wait-staff seemed disorganized and indifferent. It felt like we were invisible to them. The waitstaff seemed oblivious to our concerns and made no effort to rectify the food situation. To make matters worse, the main course we had eagerly anticipated never made its way to our table. Only the appetizers were served, and we were left hungry and bewildered. It is unacceptable for a restaurant to fail to deliver the main courses, especially after such a long wait. We ended up leaving after asking a waiter if our food was actually being cooked. It turns out after almost two hours of waiting, our main courses were not even on the stove yet. The table behind us, who were seated after us, had all of their food and was almost done eating. The lack of communication between wait-staff and the kitchen demonstrated a lack of professionalism and competence.I strongly advise against dining here. With the missing main course and terrible service, it's clear that they don't value their customers. Save yourself the disappointment and find a different place to dine where you'll be treated better and actually get the food you ordered.

We just had lunch in the restaurant.There is no a menu of different kind of meals, but the view and service is very good. Also staffs were friendly and nice.The price is very adorable at first glance , but in respect to the portion size, it’s normal, not very affordable then.But totally, this was a good experience.

Honestly had such a disappointing brunch here, everything about it was pretty terrible. Firstly we waited over an hour for our order and when it came it was wrong, plus it was pretty small for the price and just very average. Our coffee order was also wrong and was missing a drink but the service was so slow we didn’t bother asking for a correction or the other drink. I will say the blueberry scones were good (although our initial order of these went to the wrong table so we had to wait even longer for those) and the view is nice if you sit outside.

Had a dinner at the restaurant. Great atmosphere and a wonderful view of the lake, and the interiors are well appointed. The food was good but nothing that made my jaw drop, especially for the price paid. Definitely a fun spot to try at least once, but if I lived in the area I wouldn't make this a regular spot.

Didn’t stay at the hotel but came for brunch. We found the person seating us was a bit rushed and short with us. Didn’t say hello or anything just “reservation?”. Our server was very kind though. Our food was good, I got the salmon Benedict and my friend got the ham Benedict. We both thought it was good but nothing out of the ordinary. They used to use an amazing cured salmon and I definitely missed that. We had our brunch on the patio and it was a beautiful view and they put some heat lamps on for the few tables that were seated there which was very nice.
