Chris' Chimney Repair

Chris made time on short notice to come inspect the wood burning fireplaces at our new house. We had wanted cleaning & and any needed repair work done but Chris was very informative and ultimately told us that the chimneys were in good working order and didn’t charge us for the inspection. He repaired our chimney and bricked the outside of our house for us. Fabulous work, always on time, and left the area's clean after each job. We bought a house recently with a wood fireplace, having never had one before and wanting some insight on its condition and maintenance from a professional, we called Chris to take a look at it. Chris was able to come out the same day we called and was a heck of a nice guy, very informative and helpful from signs to look out for to best types of wood to use and sizes of fire to build. Highly recommend!

I have never reviewed any company before but have to say something about this one. When another reviewer said Chris was “meticulous;” I can confirm, without question, that statement was completely authentic. We live in an older home (1953) and our chimney had to be replaced from the roof line up due to severe damage from spalling etc. We had many, many questions about what was involved with this project which Chris answered in a very patient and respectful manner. Chris was so careful with everything from tearing the old brick down, putting each new brick up and keeping us well informed of every step of the process. Chris’ son was also here to help for part of the time and I can’t say enough about how courteous and kind he was to us. We have already gotten several compliments from our neighbors, friends and family about how wonderful it looks. I’m so glad we chose this company.

Chris was a lifesaver. My house was sold and due to close in a few weeks. The home inspection revealed that the chimney needed repair. Even though Chris was fully booked with scheduled work he and his son came in the evening and rebuilt the top 2 feet of my chimney. Chris did a great job, got it done quickly, took care of the permitting and when he was done, the site was perfectly clean. His price was reasonable and the workmanship and service were perfect. I would hire Chris again for any masonry work that I needed.

What a great experience we had with Chris' Chimney Repair. We were having our siding replaced on our home and when the old siding was removed the contractors told us our brick was not stable and we may need to have it removed. The brick is on a large portion of the front of our house and it would cost thousands to replace.We called Chris to come and look at it and he was so quick at the response and had a answer for us right away. He inspected our brick and he reassured us it was secure and we didn't have to replace it. He showed us how the original builders had installed it and also explained exactly what to look for when brick is in a unstable condition. His knowledge and experience saved us thousands of dollars and we are so grateful. He is honest and great at what he does. The next project we have will call Chris' Chimney Repair. Excellent!We hired Chris to fix our chimney which was cracked and falling apart towards the top.He knew exactly what needed to be done and got us a bid. After a little research we decided to go with Chris. He gave us a date and actually called a couple weeks before to see if he could start on it early. End result was we now have a great looking and solid chimney!Throughout the project he always kept the area clean and did a great job!From now on any chimney repairs will definitely be handled by Chris!Thanks again Chris!

Selling our home and wanted to get an inspection for the buyers, called Chris and he came out same day. Very informative and provided a quick honest inspection on our setup. Will definitely continue using him in the future.

I've been calling around trying to figure out how much a chimney cap/crown repair would cost. As a First time home buyer, I was not aware how simple a weather cap replacement would be. After asking a few questions, Chris was very honest upfront and suggested the weather cap from a local store and to go the DIY route. I have no doubt if I hired him to do the work he would have suggested the same, and any other work he recommended would have been honest. We may have chimney repair work that needs to be done in the future so we'll definitely be calling Chris. Thank you Chris for your help and honesty!

Chris does remarkable work, we have him repair our chimney bricks from winter wear. Our home is an older home and he has always been there to keep out chimney in good shape. This year we needed some extensive work on the chimney cap etc and he completed the work above and beyond our expectations for a very reasonable price.
