Tried the cinnamon bun and coffee, and the pastry was great and the icing not too sweet. We went back in line to buy their $9 sourdough loaf to take home. The patio is a nice place to drink coffee on a nice summer day. Appreciate the girls bringing around the coffee to refill our cups

An amazing little bakery/restaurant located on one of the many quaint streets of okotoks. it has a wonderfully designed and excuted eroupean styled interior. amazing service and food aswell just like the last location. Now also, with pizza nights where they serve delightful house made pizza aswell as tasty drinks. The French 50 bakery is a must stop for anyone living or passing through okotoks a sure to be keystone of the town and local community.

Went for pizza night the other night. I believe it was their first night being open for pizza so they were pretty overwhelmed. It did take over an hour for our food, but honestly it was worth the wait and I know that's just opening pains. The food was fantastic and everyone there was very pleasant. They also gave us some complimentary wine and dipping sauce as an apology for the long wait.My only real complaint would be that the dipping sauce is amazing and really adds to the pizza, but it really should just come with the pizza. We never would have ordered it since it's $7 just for dip but it really added to the experience (and even when we go again we probably won't get the dip because I can't stomach paying $7 for 3 tiny little containers of dip, even though I know prices are crazy these days). Glad they gave us some for free for our long wait so we could experience it once, though.But overall amazing and excited to go again - and excited to go try out their breakfast and baking some time!

A wonderful mistake:To be honest, we were h8ngry and didn't know where we wanted to eat. We drove by and said sure!Slight line up inside, but it went fast. We had Turkish eggs and the 50's Benny, a chocolate cruffin and two coffees. We even took a loaf home to eat with our supper.In all honesty, we thought we were eating at The Bistro. Honest mistake, as the door was located on the side but the door to French 50 made it seem like it was The Bistro.We will purposely come back here again! Lovely service, great atmosphere.Lovely mistake that made for a nice morning!

Love the new location! Coffee was fantastic and brunch was excellent - we tried the avocado toast, eggs benny and chocolatine. The patio was a lovely place to relax and the staff were great and quick. Looking forward to visiting often!

First of all, all their pastries and bread are out of this world! Their new place is beautiful, but unfortunately the space isn’t practical at all. There somewhat is a wheel chair/ stroller access, but getting in the line inside (or go in the washroom) is a nightmare, and challenging in general. So if you are a parent with a stroller or are on the wheelchair, unless you rebuild and shuffle their chairs and tables to get in your line, you won’t be able to. Very poor design. I did prefer their old space. Also waiting 10 minutes for drip coffee to go is a bit sad and I just left without getting it.

I have been coming here with my partner basically every weekend since February 2023. Every single visit has been a 10/5 experience! The ambiance is wonderful, the service is amazing, and the food is astonishing.If you are looking for a weekend pleasure look no further then French 50 bakery.

Got the Mother’s Day charcuterie. Great selection of meats and cheeses, along with some tasty pastries. They say it feeds 3-4, but that would have to be some very hungry people! Well worth the price and I’ll be looking for it again.

This place is such a gem! Their new location on Elma Street is incredible. Their brunch menu is absolutely delicious and the service is incredible. It was quite busy when I went and the servers handled the volume of customers efficiently and with impeccable skill.Okotoks is very lucky to have French 50 Bakery in town!
