Monte Carlo Grill & Pizza
Took over 25 mins consecutively for each plate to come out. Food is made by the receptionists for the hotel. They left the uneadable skin on the meat on the calzones and on the pizza, which you had to hand pick out of your mouth. Service is awful, and the owner's daughter treats customers terribly, even after spending over $200 dollars and tipping heavy, and another $2000 at the hotel, she feels pretentions enough to treat the customers disrespectfully. A true shame this place is running in Castlegar, as the whole town has the nicest people we've ever met. Locals were ashamed when they heard how they treat their tourists.

Best pizza in town! Fast delivery, wonderful people to deal with, great food. Spectacular for big breakfast too! But the pizza us amazing.

The food was good but not great and the waitress did bring the right food and drinks but it took 40-45 minutes and it wasn't good enough to go back for breakfast, I would go back to try any of their east indian cuisine though, maybe lunch or dinner.

If I had to rate this restaurant over all I rate it 10/10. Everything from the food to the service was top notch. I would , and have recommended this asablishment. To anyone wanting food that tastes as good as it looks. Come eat here. Worth every penny. Thank u to the staff and the cook for such amazing food and friendly service.

Go for breakfast come for dinner hope you don't got plans for the day cause I think they may be butchering the cow in the back still.. 1.5 hrs later, ps don't get the ice tea either.

Pizza was average; a bit bland and nothing to make it stand out. Baking with the pepperoni on top to crisp (instead of under the cheese) would have added some flavour.Restaurant looked very clean. Food was ready on time. Menu was lacking any gluten free options and not much interest by staff to discuss.

Nice place, family-run, quiet on a week night, seemed to be medium busy with pizza deliveries/takeout. When I saw there was Aloo Tikki, I had to try it, since it's a long-time favourite dish. The Monte Carlo's Aloo Tikki was excellent. Well-spiced, a generous portion, at a good price. The tandoori wings were also excellent. I highly recommend the Indian fare here. When you go, have the Aloo Tikki!

5/5 service and food cannot be beaten by anything in castlegar. I practically lived here for 2 weeks while I was stranded in the kootenays and they made my trip the absolute best
