I ordered furniture from HAY and XPO was the logistics company for the delivery. I received a call on Saturday informing me I would be able to schedule my delivery with the earliest time being Tuesday (I was expecting a lead time of over a week considering COVID). I received automated calls on Monday and Tuesday informing me of my 4 hour delivery window and when I would be up next. The driver also called me when he was 30 minutes away. Upon arrival, the two guys clarified where I wanted the furniture and promptly brought it in and assembled it within 30 minutes. They were respectful of my space and asked me to ensure the furniture was placed at the exact spot I wanted it to be. They also parked the truck in a place that wasn't blocking the road or bike lane.

Don't trust the delivery time for IKEA deliveries. Nothing like getting emails saying the delivery schedule for today's delivery between 1-5pm is still scheduled, and then getting a call at after 2pm to schedule a delivery for another day. WHAT? are you kidding? Incompetence is all I can say about this lack of service, especially when it was scheduled 2 weeks ago.IKEA at least is refunding the delivery fee but they should really penalize or fine XPO Logistics for the failure as this reflects badly on IKEA.I stayed home for nothing and now have to reschedule the assembly as well and waste more of my time.

This company has a contract with IKEA (north york) and their delivery system is the worst. They will SAY they rang/knocked/waited at your home for 10 minutes following IKEA's protocol but the next thing you know after waiting at home from 9-1pm not hearing peep for that delivery, is a notice how IKEA failed to deliver to your place and now you have to pay an extra $49.Sept 16th update: they were suppose to come from 9-1pm and I waited. Nothing. I called Ikea and they called XPO to ask what went wrong on my behalf since they did not have anything on their file that XPO called them if something went wrong as per their protocol. XPO CLAIMS yet again that they tried to reach me at 11 and left a voicemail (I do not have a voicemail function) telling me they are unable to deliver that day. I called XPO directly now and talked to a manager named Thushy. Asked how the company will deliver a service that I paid for. She reassured me that it will be delivered but blames IKEA for their process (which I don't get). Rescheduled to delivery Sept 18th.Sept 18th 1-5pm delivery: at least they came at all this time. But guess what? ALL the pieces were partly opened and damaged. Even the delivery guys were not happy to deliver such pieces. Called Ikea on the spot. Delivery guys tried to say the process was to deliver the damaged goods and Ikea will deliver new pieces and the new delivery guys will pick up the damaged ones. Yeah okay... I refused so they called their supervisor for advice while I had Ikea on the line (Ikea was kind of shocked that ALL the pieces were damaged - it looked like the boxes were dragged around so the boxes slowly ripped). Ikea's protocol is for the delivery guys to take back the damaged goods. Something is definitely wrong with this company. I would advise people NOT TO ORDER FROM NORTH YORK IKEA since they are associated with this delivery company.Sept 24th: Called to see why the delivery wasn't coming and they said there was no order from Ikea for a delivery. Called Ikea and they told me a whole story how since it's a return, their warehouse first needed to process the returns to issue out new ones. I asked then why they gave me a Sept 24th delivery date in the first place or why they didn't bother to call me and had me waiting at home for a non-existent delivery. They apologized but it didn't help that this was their 4th failed delivery and the next schedule delivery is Oct. 1.

The drivers were very helpful and polite and all my packages from IKEA are here and undamaged.Both of them made sure to use masks and social distancing.Thank you so much for the fast and professional delivery!They seemed to not know the area, judging from the fact that the tracking website showed them not taking the direct route, but I am also aware that the house number on my house is hard to see from the street.

This company is completely unreliable and the drivers are even worse. I had an issue with a rude driver and no delivery, I called. Was told they would call me right back. No call. I called back again the next day and rescheduled it. Next day, the same delivery driver that was rude to me called to harass me about my complaint. Not only did he harass me but it is disturbing that he had access to my personal information 2 days later. Needless to say I cancelled my delivery, I do not want anyone from this company at my home. I reported the incident to Ikea as well, they are well aware of the reputation of this company. No idea why they use them. I'll never order anything from Ikea's website again. I also have still not received a call back from the managers at XPO. They didn't even believe me until i sent the screen shot of his incoming call to me.

Worst service possible. I made a furniture purchase at IKEA North York in Toronto that is the contractor of XPO. They delayed my delivery for three days, rescheduling in this period twice. Every time I called them to know what was happening silly mistakes came to light. On the first day they lost my delivery order, on the second day my delivery order was not separated for delivery and on the third day the delivery truck broke. Many excuses and no results. IKEA refunded the delivery and gave me a gift card worth $ 50.

We purchased $2000 worth of items (25 pcs) on Thursday from IKEA, with delivery schedule for today Saturday between 1-5pm. Unexpectedly, at around 1:10pm we received automated survey saying our delivery has been completed! We called Ikea and after 1-hour long hold, they tell us there was an error" and the driver could not contact us. we did not receive any call or text from the driver

first let me start by saying that this is a horrible company. They treat their customers extremely badly and their service is very unprofessional. So i ordered a big shipment from IKEA which unfortunately work with this horrible company. So they told me via email and phone call that m shipment will be delivered between 9 am and 1 pm (which by the way is a big time range). I had to kiss my superintendent butt to allow me to book the service elevator for the whole 4 hours (my building only allow it for 2 hours as this is standard everywhere, this shows you that this company don't know what they do and their services are not researched before). Anyway when it was 11 am I called them to make sure that everything is alright and the customer service guy put me on hold, after like 3 minutes he told me that he have spoken with the truck driver and they will be at my place at 11:30 am. I was very excited. But come 11:30 and no one shows up, now it's 12:30 and no one shows up. My other problem is that I booked a contractor to come and assemble my furniture for me at 1 am, so if the delivery is late, I will be charged anyway. I called the XPO logistics hell of a company again and they told me that the guy is delayed and he will be at my place at 3 pm. I was this is unacceptable. At the end, the delivery came at 2 pm. So I lost my service elevator (i live in the 25th floor) so we I had to kiss my superintendent butt again to allow me to use the service elevator and book it for an extra 2 hours (which is something that he told me never happened in his 25 years working as a super). For the co ntracot who i hired to assemble my IKEA furniture, they showed up at 1 pm as scheduled by of course they delivery wasn't in yet so they left and charged me half the price (200$) as they came already. I called the company again to complain this time about what happened and the lady I was talking too she hang up the phone on me. Anyway what I'm trying to say here is that this is a horrible service this unprofessional company provide and they care nothing about their customers. I complained to IKEA and they told me that they heard a lot of bad stories about this company and they are considering not doing business with them anymore. I hope IKEA do that as this is a great company and doesn't deserve to work with such a terrible company.

As many others have said, I would give them zero or less. Delivery to new unfurnished apartment scheduled for 9-1 tomorrow and task rabbit coming to assemble after all through IKEA. They call tonight and tell me they can't do it because of some truck issue. Ikea hasn't been helpful at all. I am beyond angry and inconvenienced. Now have been on hold with IKEA for 30 minutes even though they said they would call back within a 3 hour period.

(Not sure which location of this company I got my service from - my delivery was in Vaughan from Lowes)Expecting a delivery this morning and was monitoring the progress through the tracking page from the text message that was sent to me last night. I was very busy for the 2-hour window they picked for me, but sure, I could accommodate. Towards the end of the delivery window, it suddenly said cancelled - bad address.I called customer service and verified my address, it was 100% correct. They could not tell what happened after several back and forths. I don't know why they did not even try calling or texting me. All I got was to wait for their call back, hopefully by the end of the day. The phone call got hung up/disconnected half way too.This kind of half-attempt for service is not acceptable, the resolution when I attempted to get help was so vague and not helpful at all.
