Not recommended. High prices for the service received. I've used them several times in the past for plumbing jobs since my strata uses them and didn't mind as long as they fixed the problem.Just recently, my tenant's toilet was clogged so PacWest came and did the work to clear the blockage and they charged over $400. A little less than a month later, they were called in again, since the toilet was blocked again and was charged $500.You would think I should get a discount or not be charged the second time for the work to be fair, since it wasn't done right the first time but they insisted that blockages can happen at any time. Seriously? What kind of service is that?Using them for simple toilet repairs is expensive. After this incident, I've had enough and have decided to use a different plumber from now on.If possible, avoid this company for any plumbing work.

The strata company had employed Pacific West to investigate a leak in the salon. After some time they were able to find the cause and located the leak coming from my shower faucet. I live on the second floor right above the salon. The repairman told me that he'll have to order the part and will get back to me.Fast forward a week and I get an email from strata saying Pacific West needs to replace the balance cartridge of the faucet and it's going to cost $480 and were awaiting my authorization. I asked the strata personnel why such a high price since the repairman spent less than an hour in my unit and the strata replied that the 480 is only for the part. The repairman had disassembled the faucet and I was able to get the model number of the balance cartridge was able to find the part for ONLY $35.I ordered the cartridge from Amazon and installed it only to find out that the leak persisted. I then did some digging and found out that the leak could be caused by a bad diverter. I bought the diverter for $40, installed it and lo and behold the leak was gone. So it only cost me a tenth of what they were going to charge me to replace the balance cartridge which wasn't even the problem to begin with. This company preys on people who don't know any better and takes them to the cleaners. My advice is to stay away from this company and their shady practice.

This company is very fraudulent with their service. My strata arranged service via this company to inspect my bathroom, and it was arranged and confirmed via phone to be between 2-4pm for the service.On the morning of the appointment, the secretary called me to ask if I could be there earlier, I declined, as I work in healthcare and cannot simply leave my work. At 1250 I was again called and told that the plumber would be there in 10 minutes because he was already in the neighborhood. When I said my appointment slot is between 2 to 4pm, I was told if I am not there then the appointment will be canceled and I'll be charged the appointment fee anyways. When I mentioned this is actually not even my slot, I was given no excuse to why they thought this would be acceptable to even try this and she kept repeating that I am not thre for their service, so its a no show fee, despite me repeatedly telling her that I agreed for service between 2 to 4pm and even told them in advance I cannot do earlier.I immediately told my strata manager was told that we would dispute this if they attempted overtime. The secretary called back and said the plumber would arrive between 2to 4pm at applicable overtime rate, which I told her is fraudulent and that's the slot I agreed to anyways. She hung up on me.The plumber (who was actually quite nice) arrived at 415 (15 min after my agreed original appt) and I just received the invoice, they are claiming it's overtime rate for 2 hours of service(claiming anything after 4pm as overtime) I have also pointed this out to the strata manager as fraudulent, as I have proof of when he arrived and left.If you have to deal with this company, I highly suggest you get them to confirm any appointment in email format rather than via phone. Or just not use them at all. Their secretary will try to spin any change to be your fault that you aren't there when they choose to arrive early, not respecting your time at all.

Extremely unprofessional, not responsive and lacking in customer service.I've called multiple times trying to get a call back over reviewing and possibly adjusting an invoice but they'd rather ignore me and force me to pay the bill without any communication.

How many plumbers does it take to fix a pipe problem. Turns out to be three (or at least 3 vans). How many times to shut water off to find a problem (at least 3). Seems the one star Rancho Management Team like to employ one star services. Every time PWM arrives you can be guaranteed the water pressure and temperature go walk about. Easy to stay in business when it takes you two-three goes to fix your own mistakes.

Strata made an appointment and Jerry came at the exact time but unfortunately I completely forgot he was coming but he still managed to see the issue and help with my problem. He was very professional and quick with his work. Would recommend Jerry any day.

Not recommended. This is fraudulent company and charge very high prices for poor job. Unfortunately our starta uses them and we had to deal with them.We had water leak and plumber who came did not bring right equipments. He was in and out of the house within 40 mins and could not find the cause of leak and blamed it on washing machine. Later we called washing machine expert and they said there's nothing wrong with machine and asked to call plumber again and asked bunch of questions if plumber checked that etc. and our plumber did not do any of that. On top of that they are charging for 2 hours. They came in afternoon 1 pm and are saying this is our after hours fee.Seriously how this fraud company is operated in Canada and used by Strata??Stay away from them!!!

Sayed had arrived with full knowledge of what to do that left me quite at ease from the start. He and his colleague were kind and knew exactly how to handle the situation. Repaired and explained what they had done to fix the leak and I now have a functioning air conditioning/heating unit. I highly recommend hiring him and the kind staff at Pacific West Mechanical Ltd for helping me!

Pacific West inspected the heat pump and exchange of filters in my building. The guys were super patient and kind to us and made all possible adjustments so that all residents who for some reason missed the inspection and contacted us could have it. Thank you for the work you did here, Carson, Austin, Michael, and Carlos we appreciate it very much (to all who came if I have forgotten someone).About Carlos I have to say a double thank you, some months ago he helped me to solve a problem with air circulation on the floors that the responsible company could not find, after his report indicating where and what the problem was the company after a long time finally managed to solve the issue.Thank you, you have done a great job at Ivy.

Avoid this company at all cost! I have been using this company for quite a few times because my strata uses them. Sure, they are on the expensive side which I don't mind as long as the problem is fixed. I contacted them to fix my kitchen leak. They showed up and looked at it. Then said the faucet need to be replaced. Nothing was fixed or replaced. Shortly after, I got a bill for $230. I have never encountered this from any plumbing company. You'd think for a big company like Pacific West Plumbing, they would come prepared with equipment. And charging $230 for doing nothing, that's simply outrageous.Needless to say, I hired another plumbing company to replace the faucet. It costs less than $200 and the work is completed. Not only that, the guy even fixed my problems in the bathroom. All for less than what Pacific West Plumbing charges me for doing nothing.I have spent close to $9000 at Pacific West over the years. Very disappointed at their service.
