Big Springs Off-leash Dog Park
Some of the pathways are a bit bumpy from tree roots and it's a bit noisy because it's right beside the highway but other than that, it's a great offleash park where I can take my baby stroller.

My favorite off leash dog park in Airdrie! Great hour walk for us, and great dog owners. Possibly not a good spot if your dog does not have a good recall, cause there are some places to leave the park (no gates). This park is well taken care of by the city, poo poo baggies are supplied with lots of garbages. A nice paved path for easy walking or muddy days.

Coming from America, and having a husky who loves to run, and socialize, this park was wonderful. Friendly owners, a place of great community, and breeds of all shapes and sizes. Most parks separate not only small dogs from large, but community. There was no segregation here. It's a blessing this park is so close to family in visiting.

Summer in big spring off leash! The city properly cut the grass and it's nice and prim. Then the out lining trees are maintained high. Which make it look really good. It's a long stretch of a land... where puppies can just run!Though it backs into residentials. Therefore it's not fully enclosed. There's like 3 Park benches where I usually pass by. It has pathways for bikers, rollerskaters, skateboard.. etc

Big Springs Off-leash Dog Park
Just started taking my 4 month old puppy there with my other dog who is a year and a half. I've never been a big fan of dog parks due to the amount of dogs with very poor manners or just out of control but I want my puppy to be socialized. This park based on the 5 times I have been so far is wayyyyy better during the week vs on the weekend. I have been going in the morning before it gets too hot but I went this past Saturday and it was a nightmare. There was a huge amount of doodle crosses which personally I can't stand. Most of them were out of control and constantly chasing my little dog far away from me and did not listen to their owners at all. People need to train their dogs to not chase small dogs who are clearly scared and running away so they don't get trampled. I havnt had this issue during the week so I'll be sticking to week days which have been a very good experience so far. I do wish the path way was longer but it's still a decent walk with some trees to provide shade. The parking isn't great as we basically have to park on the street and taking up spots for the residents in the area which I feel bad about but so far there has been lots of space when I've gone.

Best off leash aka dog park in airdrie. It can be a bit loud at times from the highway noise but its big and has multiple paths to take. Especially the lower path that goes through the bushes and trees. My son loves adventuring through them.

My dog absolutely lives for his time at this dog park. He much rather play at this one then the nose creek park. This one is open with area to run and explore. And I find his attitude is much more relaxed and playful when he's at this park. I think because nose creek dog park has very little to it and that it is fenced in most dogs think of it as their yard.. where as this dog park has an abundance of space and trees and bushes it's more like a field to the dogs. I also love the fact that people watch out for not only their own dog(s) but they watch out for everyone's dog(s). This is my go to spot to let my big boy run and play.

A lot of really nice folks use this area with thier great pets. A little more attention required in respect to cleaning up after the pets.
