Roberta and her team were an absolute pleasure to work with. I am not a person that stresses over the details, and she not only made the planning process easy, but fun. Everything the day of went without a hitch as far as I am aware; we were able to truly enjoy every moment of the special day.We also went with the extra decor planning service, which I highly recommend. It was a joy to have my inspiration come to life with Roberta's guidance.

Roberta is beyond excellent at what she does.Even the most detailed, best laid plans come off the rails at points during a wedding day - there will always be things you didn't expect, or didn't consider and having someone project-managing your day so that you don't have to...it's priceless.Additionally, Roberta is the perfect person to have by your side on a wedding day - the best blend of positive and fun energy, combined with the hard work and hustle that keeps the train on its tracks.

Roberta is an absolute dream to work with. She will get to know you and your partner to understand what your style and priorities are so that your wedding day goes seamlessly. Roberta is truly a “yes” woman. If something is important to you, it’s important to her and she will go to great lengths to make sure it happens. She has a lot of experience in wedding planning and is honest, which makes her an excellent person to bounce ideas off of. Roberta has an extremely calming and laid-back attitude, but she also replies to you instantly, stays on top of everything, and is always one step ahead. It’s a perfect combination.You can tell that Roberta loves what she does, because she goes well above and beyond what is expected or advertised. For example, she made several trips an hour outside of Halifax to the wedding venue to get familiar with the layout and draft ideas for seating layouts. She called around to hotels and bed+breakfasts to check for availability, and drafted an email to send out to our wedding guests outlining the specifics of each option. She got to know the other vendors involved in the wedding so they were connected long before the day. She saved the day when my makeup artist dropped out very late in the game by finding someone new who turned out to be amazing. She got multiple quotes for companies for glassware and linens, and coordinated drop-off and pick-up with our bartending service. She orchestrated set-up and clean-up of the venue on the day of so that I didn’t even have to think about it.Roberta deals with hiccups on the day of before they become problems - you won’t even hear about it unless you somehow find out long after the event is over. She coordinated drop-offs and pick-ups on the day of, adapting to some last-minute changes from our shuttle company. The hotel I booked for our wedding band overcharged my credit card and Roberta made herself available even after the event to give advice on how to resolve the situation.I truly cannot recommend Roberta and Love Nest Events enough. Planning a wedding comes with innumerable choices, but trust me, hiring Roberta will easily be the best decision you’ll make.

Working with Roberta and her team at Love Nest was a DREAM!!Yes - Roberta is super organized and incredibly skilled at what she does, but you want to work with her because she is the most wonderful and genuine human you will ever meet! We were able to fully enjoy our wedding day without a single stress, all thanks to Roberta. If you’re lucky enough to book her, you won’t regret it :)

With a month out from our wedding day, we were just starting the chaos of the finer details. With work and personal life, it was a lot to mentally take on. We decided to ask Roberta if she would be available for our wedding date to help with day of coordination, and by some miracle she was. All I can say is, she did not disappoint and she is so worth the investment! There were so many details I hadn’t considered that made the day flow perfectly. In hindsight, I can see how if I didn’t have Roberta there to coordinate our wedding day, there would have been so many overlooked details and I would have been riddled with stress and anxiety.Other than getting married, my one requirement for my wedding was to be stress free. I can say with confidence that I was able to obtain a stress free wedding day merely because we had Roberta there to mitigate all stressors. She is an absolute gem of a person. I guarantee you will not regret the decision to go with love nest events!
