Tommy Café

We had a very bad experience today. There is a lady named Liam who has no customer service skills . She also told us to get out and was super rude. They were out of ice creams at 9.45 pm and we were still being accomodating. We even accepted a choclate flavoured sunday with vanilla icecream since she said they are out of any chocolate flavour ice cream. We did speak to the manager as well. Her actions and hand moments were very aggresive. We also had a senior citizen with us, and was not a very pleasant experience. The worst customer service!!!

I love Tommy and the Tommy brand. Catch me driving from Toronto to Old Montreal to sit in their perfectly situated café, posting on IG being the main character.But realistically the Oakville location is closer, so i found myself there recently. It’s brand new so the staff may not have fully perfected the menu. The classic Tommy vibe is lost in the chocolate.The staff 10/10 just darling, and I truly believe we’re smiling the entire time behind their masks. Was my latte watered down, yes. Would I recommend the lucky charm latte? Only if you had it to stay, taking it to go is just becomes soggy cereal in lukewarm coffee. Would I return? Yeah in a few months after they worked out the kinks.

Disappointing for downtown Oakville ... $10 slice of cake was nuked from frozen and served in a styrofoam container with plastic cutlery, even for eating inside. 3 stars because the coffee and cake were good, but overpriced.

Pretty chill spot with lots of options for coffee and dessert. One of the only places in downtown open past 8pm.

My husband and I came to the Tommy Oakville location after having been to the one in Montreal (which was amazing by the way). So we figured we’d have a similar experience here - not the case at all.They only open at 11 which is odd when you’re selling breakfast items and coffee. We actually came to oakville to try it a couple weekends ago until we got here and they were closed at 9 am. We should have taken that as a warning sign.The furniture is dirty, there’s no atmosphere whatsoever. The people behind the counter looked like they were still in high school and like they had just rolled out of bed.The guy who took our order didn’t know how to use the machine. When he was done taking our order he just sat down and went on his phone. The girl had to make both our food items and drinks. Everything took about 30 mins to make… and we were the only ones in there the entire time.My husband got the lox bagel and it wasn’t even assembled. For a $15 bagel you’d think it would at least come cut or toasted… not only was it not cut or toasted but it was also stale. My husband had to ask for a refund (he never complains).Our lattes were so watered down that you could barely taste any coffee at all.I got the avocado toast which was okay but extremely oily - to the point there was oil dripping down my fingers…?I do not recommend this place. Don’t waste your money or time here. This is NOTHING like the Montreal location. So disappointed.

Love this place. You can go for a cappuccino or lattes. Or you can go for some snacks or ice cream. They have a huge variety of dipping for your ice cream and dessert pizza. They also have cheesecake.The service is great. Definitely will visit again

One of the places I’ve wanted to come amd try their coffees for so long!Your first step into this place and it’s a whole new kinda vibe! Not sure what it is but their shared space with chocolato was so well done!The ceiling with those drips of chocolate coming down on one side and the greenery arrangement with the signature Tommy sign on the other!The lucky charms latte had a nice strong espresso flavour that was nice and smooth. The lucky charms in the latte had its pros and cons. The marshmallows portion was a nice little addition of sweetness. The cereal portion didn’t add anything to the coffee for me but because it was made from oats, it did have an oat milk like feel to it which was kinda nice too. With the lucky charms, it also added a nice level of aesthetics the drink tooHeard the iced latte latte, which my friend got was amazing! So that will be my next item to try!Will definitely come back for more of their espresso drinks as I really liked their roast!Great job on the tasty espresso drinks! First time I tried Tommy was in Montreal, and I absolutely loved it. I am very Happy that a location has opened in downtown Oakville. This adorable shop has fresh coffees, sandwiches, Belgium chocolates, a variety of chocolate dips. A knowledgeable & friendly staff. Ice cream cone sizes from mini to large. A perfect place for families, dates, or with girlfriends for a casual day or night out.

Would not come here! The staff were rude, and dressed very unprofessional and unhygienic (sweatpants, dirty sweaters, open toed sandals etc). I asked for the Tommy latte (their signature lucky charms drink) iced, as I have had it several times at other locations. She did not know what the Tommy latte was, so I had to point to it on their menu, and she refused to make it iced. I got the hot one, and it was terrible. Very bitter, lucky charms were stale, and it tasted watery.The inside of the cafe is dirty, and the atmosphere is cold and unfriendly. I was so excited to come here after visiting the ones in MTL, but unfortunately this was a horrible visit. Do not recommend.

I went to a couple of Tommy cafes in Montreal and was blown away with coffee, food and atmosphere.When I came here it was the polar opposite, we ordered 2 lattes, avocado toast and a lox bagel. Total came to 46$ with tip. I'm aware that Tommy is expensive but you (usually) pay for quality in food, drink and atmosphere.The guy who took our order did not know how to use the POS system and as soon as we paid he sat back down and played on his phone, the woman working was alone in making our order.Drinks took 25 minutes to come out, even though we were the only people there. Avocado toast came out reasonably fast but was covered in some sort of oil. The lox bagel came next and it was just an uncut bagel, smoked salmon, onion and cream cheese. No cutlery, after I found some and assembled this bagel that I paid 14$ for, it bit into a stale bagel.I asked for a refund and they questioned why, but eventually gave me the money back for the bagel.No need to mention the atomsphere, blank walls and dirty furniture.I will not be returning and will not be visiting any other Tommy locations.Failure in every aspect, waste of money and time.
