The prettiest of all the Gatineau Park ski/snowshoe shelters. Lovely old log homestead in a sunny spot with a very popular bird feeder. Often crowded at weekends.

Healy shelter was magical with it's bird feeder , fireplace and beautiful tables. Very very clean and full of friendly outdoor enthousiaste!Loved it and will return for sure

This shelter is conveniently located to be the perfect distance from the parking for snowshoeing or cross country skiing. I've only visited in the summer but there were some public bathrooms (outhouses) and tons of fire wood to warm up. Friends have arrived later around dinner time and found it to be quite busy.

Its beautiful gp,perfect for mountain bikes but the trail there for hikers is long and a bit boring.

Healey Shelter is a nice spot to stop for a snack when doing the Cross Loop Road hike on Trail 71. Plenty of picnic tables inside and out and a wood stove. Historic plaques tell you the history of the farm and surrounding area. Lovely wildflowers and wild raspberries grow along the sides of the trail

This shelter has a large picture window overlooking a meadow. The fire in the woodstove was perfect for heating our lunch and drying our clothes.
