Fished from shore here. No catches but it's certainly possible. Lots of nearby properties and they are used to trespassers so don't be stupid and stay off their land. Lots of parking here

Was visiting a family member and got dropped off at the pier and was told that it was a private pier and I was not allowed to walk on it. I was bullied off of the pier (on crown land) and told to go back to the boat that I was dropped off from. Ridiculous.

Major improvements are required before Wababum will be a place I will visit again. Over 2 hours to get your boat out is not acceptable. The Governments at both levels need to address the railroad track. That is the busiest line I've seen in Alberta, it directly blocks vehicles coming and going to the boat launch. The dock is supposed to be where people dock their boats, not dominated by people fishing.

Don't know much about it, but there are alot of boats docked there. One of the many places I ride my mountain bike past this area.

Zero phone numbers to contact to confirm if the boat launch/ parking lot on the west side of the property is public or private. How is it they can run a property without at least one staff member available by phone.
