Have seen some great concerts here with the most memorable Gord Downie. Last time I was in was for Classic Albums Live , sound was very nice. Check out a show here if you get a chance.

Roy Thomson Hall is a stunning concert hall in downtown Toronto that hosts a variety of musical events and performances. It is the home of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra and the Toronto Mendelssohn Choir, two of the finest ensembles in Canada. The hall has a sleek and modern design, with a circular shape and a glass canopy that reflects the city skyline. The acoustics are superb, thanks to the adjustable acoustic canopy and curtains that can tailor the sound to different types of music. The seating is comfortable and spacious, with excellent sightlines and legroom. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the amenities are top-notch, including a spacious lobby, a gift shop, a bar, and a restaurant. Roy Thomson Hall also offers free choir and organ concerts, as well as educational programs and tours for the public. Whether you are a classical music lover or just looking for a memorable night out, Roy Thomson Hall is a great place to experience the best of Toronto's musical culture.

Roy Thomson Hall is one amazing venue. Came for the Star Wars Last Jedi performance and it was mind blowing! Excellent acoustics, any seating here is top notch and comfortable. Everything is well maintained and the staff are knowledgeable and helpful. Food is available but pricy, if you can better to eat prior to or after the show if you can hold out. Was definitely an incredible experience. Hoping they have more of the Star Wars films with the live orchestra again.

Went to watch TSYO perform here recently. Was an absolutely amazing venue, but the staff had to usher us out immediately after the show, and we couldn’t wait in the lobby to say hi to the performers. We also had to pass a security check at the entrance, but all of these precautions are understandable. Was a great venue, and especially loved the organ.

I love going to Roy Thomson Hall for a lot of things. The TSO is one of them. Gustavo Gimeno is absolutely delight to watch and is a fantastic addition to the TSO. The venue itself is nice. Staff members are always helpful. The seats are as comfortable as you can expect. I’d recommend going to this venue for films as well as musicals. The acoustics are phenomenal.

It would have been 5 star if not the bad traffic getting out after the concert. The location and surrounding city view is gorgeous. Great sound field in the music hall, friendly and helpful staff, excellent experience until after. Getting into the underground parking was easy, entrance at south of the building on Wellington St W. Paid flat rate $15 for the night, not bad. Buuuut, very long line up when leaving, partly because of other events around, but only one car at a time waiting for someone on Wellington St yield for you to right turn was so bad. End up waiting in a line of idling cars for 3 hours underground. So recommendation, park somewhere and walk to the concert, or take subway, get out the station right under the building.

Beautiful venue, great acoustics, and great views even from the cheap seats! There's also lots of bars for drinks and snacks (we didn't even wait) and plenty of tables and chairs to sit and eat/drink before the show. I recommend arriving early enough to enjoy your drink if you plan to get one as you can't bring it to your seat.If your attending a symphony here and not sure what to wear: there are plenty of people in jeans and a sweater, and plenty in dresses/dress shirts. Whatever you feel comfortable in, you won't be an odd one out.

I went to a call to the bar ceremony. Everything was organized to enter the hall. The organist was amazing. Entry and exit process was smooth. I will attend another function in this beautiful hall.
