GOLFTEC Richmond Hill

I have been a member of the Golftec Richmond Hill establishment for more than two years. I have used other training facilities, but this place beats them all. The staff are knowledgeable, welcoming and accommodating. The technology is exactly what I need to keep improving my game. Last year, I was the singles match play champion, and won (for the second year in a row) my golf clubs version of the FedEx Cup. Top notch coaching and practice sessions that offer immediate feedback are a winning combination. If you want to take your golf game to the next level, then go no further.

I have been going to Golftec Richmond Hill for 3 years and it has definitely improved my game a lot. I have used a number of golf instructors prior to golftec, so I have a lot to compare to.The way they analyze your swing then show you what is correct and what is not correct is a key to progress. The visual one gets from this helps the mind understand what needs to change.Their system then provides easy to understand swing improvements tailored to the individual. They can do this in studio, on a range or on a golf course.My game and swing has improved so I now only need an occasion touch up lesson when I go off the rails. The touch up lesson is good because it helps me get back to the correct swing instead of continuing to practice an incorrect one.

I went to Golftec with the hope of turning golf into a more enjoyable sport to play. I was a mid 90's player with no sign of getting better before beginning my lessons. I have worked with Steve for just over a year now and I'm playing an entirely different game of golf. I had no idea how poor my swing and technique actually were until going through the process of lessons. The technology employed by Golftec is fabulous at helping you understand the mistakes you're making, and how you're progressing to fixing those mistakes. We have worked on everything from swing path, weight transfer, club face at impact...you name it they cover it. My first round this year I played 9 holes and broke 40, I would have been on pace to break 80. My second round I though I played quite poorly (in my opinion based on how I know I can now play) and was still able to break the 90 mark. If you are looking to improve your game I would highly recommend going through a lesson set with one of their instructors. If your experience is anything like mine has been, it will change golf for you.

Very poor experience here spent 4 lessons talking about the same thing, 30 min lessons always cut short. Just seem like they want to get it done quickly and take the money

I was fitted for a new set of irons to replace a set I bought in high school. The process was excellent. No pressure, thoughtful and methodical. In the end, I bought a set that fit within my budget and featured several customizations that suit my swing and body.Fee was $100 for the service, but was waved because I purchased. The clubs I bought also happened to be on sale, so I saved a few more bucks.If you're reading reviews to determine if this is the good spot for club fitting. It is.Shout out to Steve Fox for excellent service.

First Class Venue, First Class Instructors. Started just over 1 year ago and the results happened pretty quick. It is more then reducing your score, going to Golftec build my confidence and I have played more golf in 1 year then I have over the last number of years. My instructor Tim Middleton is second to none, patient and encouraging. I highly recommend Golftec no matter what level you are but if you are like me a recreational golfer give them a chance it will change your life when it comes to golf. Great Instructors & Great faculty = lower handicap :)

I have been a student at Golftec Richmond Hill for just over a year. Prior to Golftec I had many experiences with multiple other golf instructors but none quite as good as the instructors at Golftec. I find them not only experienced golf instructors but great people as well. Working with my coach Tim, I have noticed drastic improvements in not only my swing but my approach to golf in general! Don’t waste your money & time Got fitted for a set of Taylor Made Sim 2 . When I arrived at Golftec Richmond Hill I showed the fitter my spec on my previous two fittings. When previous clubs where 3/4 longer from standard my driver was 10.5 . When I received my new set of clubs Golftec supplied me wit h a 9.5 driver waited two weeks received proper driver head . Used clubs summer 2021 had problem hitting irons. Tried 2022 to see what problem was could not get a appointment went to Arizona with my clubs got fitted there found out clubs where all standard length Contact Drew at Golftec he said he would talk to the manager Steve Fox went to def ears will not do anything for me and will not answer my e mails

My first negative review but golftec in Richmond hill earned it.From the fitting (set of irons) we only tested one flex, I guess I should have asked more myself. The process felt rushed. The “tec” was way behind other fittings (like the marker on the ball for lie adjustments after hitting 3 balls)I guess a lot of that is subjective but the worst part of the whole thing was the lack of any care/customer service once you pay. After I paid I waited a long time (7 weeks) for the clubs. Calling in doesn’t work because they don’t manage a phone at that location.Went to finally get the clubs and just to be safe I checked over the set, one was missing. I did end up getting it but this was a experience I won’t set myself up for again.You can get the same fitting at any golf town or for $50 more top end fittings like txg just to name one of many.

Very disappointed in the quality of my lessons. Steve was my coach and seemed to know very little about how to teach. I felt like he was giving me the same lesson over and over with no ability to adapt to my learning style or interest in doing so.
