Tongue Point Plover Ferry Pier
Several years ago, I stumbled across this salmon fishing boat next to the abandoned Alaskan Cannery building. Photo was taken with a Nikon D90 with a 35mm 1.8 lens.

Tongue Point Plover Ferry Pier
Interesting little run down pier at the very tip of Semiahmoo Parkway, right next to the resort. There's a gravel parking lot to park in, but make sure you park to the right, in public parking, not in the resorts parking area. There's a picturesque old rundown building and the pier is right past it. Great views of Canada, the Straight of Georgia, and Mt. Baker off in the distance.

what an incredible place to spend the day, a few hours or the whole weekend! the spit has views for days in every direction. its a must see/must explore when up north. i cant wait to come back soon
