I gave 5 stars and if I could give 100 I would, because it is well deserve. In 2020 during the lock down, Meta services called me set up virtual training with me while i was facing some dark moment, I did not know how I was gonna manage financially no work, the lab top that I had for many years needed to be up dated, they gave me a brand new lab top and help me with my resume. 1 week after a job opportunity came up, I was able to apply for it, I got the job I am in it still and moving up into a better opportunity. I am very happy where I am, it was a perfect match , I am extremely happy, Thanks Zeeshan and all the staff at Meta services. Not only have you rescued me but all the people who I have helped. Job well done.

META Services has been an exceptional and incredibly helpful resource for me. Firstly, they did a phenomenal job in putting together and updating my resume. They did an incredible job with this. Please don't go to Meta Vocational in Whitby! Drive to another location.I was in a major car accident as a pedestrian and went to Meta several years after to try to get Second Career funding in order to find a new career. While explaining my injuries/conditions as a result of my accident, their representative kept questioning what I was telling him. He asked if my condition was real and even spent time trying to ascertain if I was telling the truth. Then while trying to be empathetic to my struggle following the accident, he started asking questions about my wife and I's relationship and how it must be very difficult for us. He was very patronizing! Then came the worst of all. He wanted to know how everything affected our intimate relationship, if we had sex often. While my psychologicist at the time would ask similar things, it was because he cared about my emotional well being. There was no reason why Meta needed to know these types of things for my Second Career application. I filed a complaint, but I found the manager to be dismissive.

I have had nothing but great experiences with Meta Services. Zeeshan was always checking in with me, making sure that I had all of the tools that I needed in order to gain confidence and get more views on my resume. I have also never had a better resume, thanks to Zeeshan! I am currently employed and I am grateful to Meta Employment Services for their ongoing assistance.

My son is using Meta Employment Services- Whitby location for a while now to be introduced into the workforce. Jade Nikodemus-Smith introduced Emily Smith to us. Currently, his Employment Counsellor is Emily Smith. She effectively worked on supporting my son finding an appropriate position that suits him and she did. She has been extremely helpful and supportive. Emily Smith is an Employment Counsellor at Meta’s Whitby location. I have been using their services for many years and have worked with numerous counselors. All were good-all were very professional, but I would have to say Ms. Smith is the best. She is very patient. When you schedule an appointment, she gives you enough time to express your concerns, and is very quick in finding a solution. Also, you immediately know how knowledgeable she is regarding the quickest path to finding a job. For example, the process of constructing a revised resume and cover letter. After just one appointment, she was able to assist in improving both . She knew the best template to use and made them a lot more concise. I consider Ms. Smith to be a great communicator and a great motivational speaker. There were times when I felt pessimistic in the pursuit of finding a better higher paying job, but her encouragement really helped. And on May 24, 2020, I was able to get a higher paying job. My previous job was only minimum wage, but now my current job pays over 20 an hour.Thank You Emily
