The Gables Restaurant
This is a wonderful restaurant in St. Andrews by-the-sea. The patio is right on the the waterfront. The atmosphere is terrific. The seafood chowder was amazing. I would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone visiting St. Andrews.

The Gables Restaurant
Our favorite St Andrews restaurant. We appreciate they kept the mask mandate even after it was optional. Made for a comfortable experience. I had seafood platter and it was perfect: lightly battered, generous serving, very fresh tasting fish, not greasy at all. My wife does not like fish but found a really tasty chicken Caesar wrap that she enjoyed immensely. Their patio is beautiful, unique and tasteful. It was built around large trees that provided natural shade.

The size of The Gables on Water St. can be deceiving from the front, quite a large dining room and beautiful patio.Most importantly, the food was more than delicious at the correct temperature. I was worried from another review stating that the portions were too small, they are NOT. We absolutely recommend the seafood chowder and the Thai Seafood" (nice portion of shrimp

St Andrews by the Sea such luxury and a restaurant that serves fresh lobster. Very good indeed. They even offer blankets for outside patio guests who want to eat outdoors for the view.

Like in just about any waterfront restaurant in Saint Andrews, try to get seated at an outdoor table on the large patio overlooking Passamaquoddy bay. Our group tried fish and chips, the bull, chicken and salmon burgers and was satisfied. Average prices and friendly service.

Who can complain? Sitting on the ocean, on a patio, watching the tide rise, eating a lobster clubhouse sandwich sipping a ginger and rum beer… thank you guys for the good service, the good food and the great view!
