100% vegan menu! This place blew my mind with the impressive variety of delicious menu options! Beautifully plated as well.First off, their ordering system is so advanced than what I am used to. You can order off the menu and they will open the QR code for the table so you can access the online menu, view your reciept, and even send orders through without having to call for a server.Their tuna avocado aburi was sooo goood and tasted like the real thing. Highly recommend the aburi!!I absolutely loved their spam and cream cheese roll and spam nigiri. Also look how real their tobiko looks! The texture was spot on, but a lil sweeter. They even have all vegan desserts! We tried the london fog ice cream and mango mousse cake -all delicious! London fog had a strong tea flavor and very creamy. The mango mousse tasted more like chickpeas than mango.Service was super friendly and attentive.Highly recommended!

absolutely jaw dropping food. i haven’t been able to have sushi for so long after being diagnosed with egg and fish intolerance, but this place absolutely saved me from being sushi starved for life! the food lives up to all these amazing reviews — you really can’t tell it’s vegan sushi! the flavours are amazing and even better (in my opinion) than some “real” sushi restaurants. the wait staff were absolutely incredible too (and handled an unruly older woman very well and politely, which is definitely a testament to their kindness). will definitely be back for more!!

What a surprise! I accidentally came across this resto thanks to Uber Eats. Not a hard core vegan but I don’t mind having this type once in awhileThe fried California rolls were an extra special treat with that crunch and flavourWe ordered agedashi tofu, crunch (california) rolls and a vegan chicken teriyaki bowlA nice treat that I would recommend to any vegan die-hards(find me on IG @aida.loves )

My wife is allergic to seafood so we never go to sushi restaurants due to cross contamination risk. Vegan Shoku is completely vegan and the food tastes amazing! The baby corn nigiri was our favorite. I'm very happy there's a vegan option for sushi. They're also great for allergies. They have gluten free soy sauce available.

Shoku Restaurant offers an exceptional Japanese vegan experience. Their Chicken Lunch Box features a tender plant-based chicken substitute with vibrant veggies and fluffy rice. The Combination Sushi Platter impresses with expertly crafted vegan sushi rolls, bursting with fresh ingredients and harmonious flavors. A must-visit for vegans and food enthusiasts alike.

I never thought vegan food could taste this good, and it was almost better than some real sushi places I've been to. The dessert was also delicious and attractively plated.I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to try out vegan food or sushi.

The food at Shoku was delicious. The presentation was beautiful and the staff were great too. We all loved it. My favorite was the Vine Street Roll. We can’t wait to go back!

I’m a Vegetarian my entire life since I was born. Been to many vegetarian/vegan restaurants around the world and I could assure with everyone that this is definitely one of the best vegan sushi restaurants you could ever find! We’ve tried almost everything here, and everything was just beyond amazing. They just opened since 1.5 months ago, I’m sure they will be a big hit in the near future. Please don’t miss out when you’re in townn!

I tried this place because I was intrigued by the idea of a completely vegan Sushi restaurant. What we ordered:- Vegan Salmon Avo Oshi- Dynamite roll- Vegan Chicken Dinner Boxl felt some dishes were either a hit or miss. The Salmon Oshi was amazing, texture resembled salmon too well, and the sauce added that umami flavour. My friend and I both agreed that if we were distracted while eating, we might not catch on that it’s vegan - I’d highly recommend ordering this. My only wish was that the vegan salmon was a big thicker cut, but that’s not a big deal. The dynamic roll was a bit disappointing, nothing special and their imitation crab meat ws dt very good, it was a very sub par dish. I’d go for their special rolls, since I feel they do a great job of using sauce to add that umami flavour. As for the dinner box, I think it’s a decent deal. The Crab Oshi was okay, but I wouldn’t get a full order myself. Their vegan crab meat is not nearly as good as their salmon. Vegan chicken had a meaty texture, sauce was great and I really enjoyed it. Tempura and spring rolls can typically be vegan, so it was your standard tempura, which was good.Overall, I think if you order the right things (ex: salmon oshi or special rolls), the food can be great. It’s also great to see all the options they supply, which are all vegan. I will say you are paying a premium for the vegan food as it’s probably more expensive than your typical sushi joint. Would I return? I would if I was ever craving vegan sushi - there are a few a la carte items and special rolls that I’m curious about. I would recommend giving this place a try if you’re curious like myself and don’t mind paying a slight premium for a different experience.
