Driftwood Lodge
This place was good. It was clean, which is more important than anything else. The woman who checked us in was nice. The view after the short walk to the beach was outstanding. The location was perfect for us. The room was small but had everything we needed. As for negatives, the bed and pillows were super uncomfortable and there was a funny smell. But for the price, I would definitely spend a night here again.

Driftwood Lodge
I was very lucky to have a chance to stay at this lodge off season. Even though the hosts weren't there, I decided to call them and got checked in remotely. I spent a wonderful quiet night and enjoyed taking a hot bath. The room was clean and the beach view very romantic. I wish I had time to stay longer.

This is an older building with a cabin like feel. The owner is very friendly. The room was clean and cozy. Amazing value for the money. Will stay again when in the area. Fire pit in the back yard right onto the beach.

I stayed here for the first time in 2012. This week I went back again and loved it just as much! A quiet, comfy place to stay. The owners are so friendly and welcoming. I stay everytime I'm in Cape Breton.

I will be adding this to my places to stay on my annual visits back home. It's very dated, but I like the vintage feel. The location is prime and the price is awesome

I loved my stay here! The accommodations were lovely, comfortable and very clean with an amazing view .The hosts were so friendly and accommodating… a little piece of paradise!

Great guest service, wonderful host! Pleasant stay. Wonderful view. They are right at the ocean. Quite peaceful. We would visit again.

Great play to stay on a budget. Not many affordable options in the area for someone fresh out of university, but this place was exactly what we were looking for. It’s older and dated, and the shower was rather short but it’s a place to shower and sleep for the night for a good price - that’s all I can ask for.

I’ve been here several times and it is by far my favourite place to stay in Cape Breton. The owners are friendly people. It’s homey, cozy with a cabin-like feel and a picturesque coastal view and access to the water. I took my friends and they love it too. We will most definitely be back. Thank you!

Amazing view ! App.2 was cozy enough for our family, well maintained and clean. The Driftwood lodge is well located and you also have access to the beach. The exterior ground would deserve more love. The hosts were very friendly.Would come again!
