I love Michael. He knows what he's doing. He's a straight shooter who tries to explain complex legal aspects in plain English.He helped me make sense of my employment situation and gave swift and clear advice.I wholeheartedly recommend Michael!

If I could rate Michael's services as 0 or negative stars I would. He is highly unprofessional, rude, and insulting. I am writing this on behalf of a family member who was so egregiously and unfairly mistreated by this individual that I was compelled to write this review. Absolutely shameful conduct.

I love working with Michael. His level of professionalism an level of attention to detail are unparalleled. he is in tune to his clients needs and guides them well in their times of need.I cannot recommend enough. His work speaks for itself.

Called him twice regarding my case, and like many others mentioned on their reviews, he is extremely rude and make his client very uncomfortable explaining the situation. Very hard to communicate. He also blamed me on keep repeating myself with information he already knew. I am glad I hang up on this unprofessional lawyer. DON'T EVEN WASTE UR TIME AND MONEY!

Very rude lawyer with a lot of attitude!I called to explain my case to him and the way he responded back was not professional and client friendly at all. He treats clients as if they are guilty at the first place and start questioning rudely. Moreover, in his website, he says free consultation, but he said it cost me $300 for the consultation.

The worst laywer in my life. Very agrressive, unprofessional. Constantly rolling his eyes. Teenager's behaviour. I think he needs a help from phsycologist. Red hair Napoleon complex. Extremely rude with ALL CLIENTS.

Short story: I highly recommend Mr. Cohen. Very-very professional and straight to the point lawyer.Long story: As far as I understand, Michael has a very intense experience in the field (although he's not the oldest fellow in the industry). In my case, I made a wrong decision and Michael literally pulled me out of the mess I was about to create myself. It turned out he was right all along because he knows his stuff.MORAL OF THE STORY #1: Trust himMichael values your time and his time, which is the best property of a lawyer, considering that in case of legal battles time is indeed money. That is why he doesn't have any of the BS your opponent might come up with. Similarly he will not take any BS from you (I tried :). If you are in need of a nice psychologist who would listen to your emotional stories of all injustices of this world - hire a psychologist.MORALE OF THE STORY #2: If you need effective and efficient lawyer - hire Michael.

Michael is thorough and meticulous, but his client relations skills are not well-developed. I don’t think he recognizes how rude he comes across sometimes – his tone, his manner of speaking and answering questions seem like he’s agitated and annoyed that I needed clarification on legal issues and processes that - had I known the details - I wouldn’t require his services in the first place.It was to the point where during one phone call I became so irritated at the aggressive and condescending way that he was speaking to me that I had to tell him to stop being so rude. In fact, there were several times where I didn’t feel like he was my representation at all.While he was honest about billing, which my wife and I appreciated, we ended up feeling hesitant to ask him questions because of the aggressive manner in which he would respond. By the end, we were directing most of our questions to Bobby Brykman (his colleague and our real estate lawyer) as he was much easier to communicate with.I will not be using Michael for litigation services in the future.

Mr. Cohen was extremely helpful and really took the time to listen to my situation and concerns. He ensured to update me every step of the way. He is a very competent and knowledgeable employment lawyer. I would highly recommend his services.
