Great shop with good selection of bikes and parts. Friendly knowledgeable people who have a passion for cycling. I like the coffee bar. When I was in the shop I had an iced coffee because it was very hot outside. I ended up wandering around and picked up a few items then went and sat outside and enjoyed my coffee . the atmosphere is fantastic

Ryan and Tara were very supportive and helpful throughout my entire online order process, especially when my highly anticipated new Cannondale was delayed by over a month, they shared in my frustrations and did their best to keep me informed. They did everything they could to make it right" by offering additional accessories to compensate for the wait and when the rear derailleur hanger broke after only a few KM of riding they offered to pay for the repair without any hesitation. I would highly recommend Northstar to anyone for both in-person shopping or online orders."

I am extremely disappointed that this bike shop wouldn't work with me as a customer. I waited for a bike during the winter; finally able to pick it up in February but still unable to ride, and they won't refund for the bike. We live more than 100 km away from Cranbrook. Yes, I waited more than 30 days to think about the bike. And yes, I tried to be flexible about the situation. And this bike shop will not budge to help me out or accept a return. Even though this bike may now be considered pre-owned, but mint with zero km and not ridden, they won't even make an exchange that is fair. There are other bike shops in the Kootenays who are friendlier and more understanding. Beware.

Order online a full face attachment for my bell biking helmet. It fits perfectly and it’s easy to put on. Really happy with my purchase and will reorder from northstar bicycle when I need more biking stuff.

This is the first time I've made such a serious purchase online and the experience couldn't have been any better. The staff patiently answered all of my questions, and I had a lot of questions, accommodated me with a couple of small asks I had and eventually, I received my dream bike. Frustrating working with this supplier. Purchased online bike trainer accessory. Spoke with someone to be sure I had the correct part and they assured me it was. After receiving it I found out they were wrong. When I returned the incorrect part it apparently did not get recieved at the store and they took no responsibilty for the original incorrectly spec'd part.

Great range of bike parts and maintenance items. Good customer service; was sent a duplicate item instead of one of the other items in my order, and they mailed me the correct item along with a return shipping bag for the duplicate. Shipping can take a while if you have a big order because they send from multiple warehouses.
