Take Paws

We have been using Take Paws for several years for cat care while we travel. We have always had wonderful experiences with their sitters and would absolutely recommend their services. When we had a cat who had medical needs, we felt very comfortable traveling, knowing they were in good, and caring, hands.

We have been using Take Paws for our Boxer since April 2013 and have nothing but good things to say. All of the walkers that have been in our home have been professional and caring, and we would recommend them to anyway looking for a pet walking/sitting service. We have generally had a consistent person that takes care of our dog, and anytime there has been staff turnover we have always had the opportunity to meet the new person that will be in our home.

Take Paws offers such amazing service! The owner Scott takes great pains to ensure that his staff are well trained and very professional.We adopted a small rescue dog that was frightened of everyone. Mike M. from Take Paws was so wonderfully patient and kind- nothing short of a miracle worker!This service has been a lifesaver for long work days. Online scheduling and billing system are super convenient. I would give it 6 stars, if that was an option! Thank you, Take Paws.

We have been using Take Paws 5x a week for a couple months to walk our 11 month Aussie. Our meet & greet and all of our correspondence has been professional and kind. Our dog is pretty cautious/shy with new people and they did everything right during the introduction. Our walker is absolutely amazing! He is incredibly sweet to our dog and takes great care of her. He's had to deal with some big puppy messes and handled it perfectly, while keeping me informed the whole time. I look forward to reading the handwritten note every day after work. The price is pretty much the same for other Madison dog walking companies and I am extremely satisfied with the service.

The folks at Take Paws are really nice and wonderful people who genuinely love what they do. Our dog walker, Mike, is fantastic with the dogs and keeping us informed of the visits. The price for the services is competitive and fair. I never once was concerned with leaving my three dogs whom I consider my children" in the care of the folks at Take Paws. Scott does a wonderful job taking care of our older dog (he has done both pit stops and individual walks/runs with her). Always timely and dependable, great communication, and our dog clearly ADORES him. He is very careful in minimizing risk with the current pandemic as well.

Scott takes exceptional care of our dogs, we have two very anxious pups but whether it's walking them while we're at work or boarding them when we're away, we are confident our dogs are in good hands! (Or should I say paws?)We've been using Take Paws for years and we couldn't be happier.

Take Paws is amazing! Best dog walking service ever. My pup gets nervous around new people but has a lot of energy so he needs a good walk in the middle of the day. Not only did Take Paws guarantee that my dog would have the same walker every time, but he was getting at least a 25min walk as well! Scott is Super great and easy to work with and Ryan is the best walker in my opinion, but everyone at Take Paws is super friendly and accommodating. Ryan is such a nice guy and is always excited to see my pup! Each time I come home to a happy pup and a note about the walk, which is so comforting. In addition, Take Paws is far more affordable than other dog walking and pet care services! Seriously, stop looking for a service to walk your dog and contact Take Paws.

I am so happy to have found Take Paws! Scott is extremely accommodating and responsive, and our pets absolutely love Ryan.It's always hard to leave the pets at home when we go out of town, but Take Paws helps me rest easy knowing that they are happy and in safe hands.

I can't speak highly enough about Take Paws, Caitlin & Scott and their team. I used Take Paws for about a year before I moved from the Madison area. They manage to balance individual attention, genuine warmth, and total professionalism in way I've never encountered. Their ability to manage crazy requests, leave detailed daily notes, and overall just take exceptional care of your pups is amazing. I had two really young dogs that I needed help caring for, and I attribute much of their current happiness, ability to manage chaos, and calm demeanors to Take Paws. I've had great pet care services for over the last 17 years and none come close to the service and kindness shown to me by Take Paws. I recommend them 1000%.
