Hall of Peace

Great event space/venue to rent from. They over delivered with what we needed. The communication was a bit unorganized, and the security deposit is about 2 weeks (in business days) late.. and counting. We were able to create a ton of referrals following our event. They apologized for the delay and told me when the deposit will arrive - still late by another week.

Horrible communication host was rude at times and was late or did not show up for appointments. The day of the wedding host was uncooperative and rude again not worth the hassle or money

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!Wish I could leave less than one star. From my horrible experience with these people. RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL.We went from trying to book the venue, to being told that we would get a call back, to being told we were going to get an email, to being told that their systems are down. With no update, no response, nothing.When I reached out to the person in charge, he was furious over the phone, telling me that he “cannot fulfill my requests and my requests are unreasonable” ………..My request was for a simple response, of availability.Save your time and thousands of dollars, and book elsewhere

I have been using the hall of peace as an event coordinator for over a year now. I have been very happy with my experience. Whether I was hosting a wedding, any community gathering or my live performance event everything always went very well.The staff who work here are very friendly and are have been very helpful in addressing both the needs of my clients and any event I have hosted there personally.The main hall is beautiful with an amazing ambience and great for weddings or larger community event as I have had up to 120 guests at one time and it was still spacious.The downstairs hall can easily fit a lil over 50 to 60 people and is great for smaller events and gatherings.There is plenty of parking and my guests have always enjoyed the events I have been able to host here. I am very happy with my experience with this multipurpose event space and will definitely be using it again and again!

Attended a wedding here, it was a beautiful setting for any type of reception. I love the big glass windows at the front of the building, very picturesque.

Our event in hall of peace was amazing for many reasons the hall is spacious has fine lights, sound system, round tables, stage for the bride and groom seating, and the team of the hall very helpful, and the setup of the tables and chairs well organized and in time, I recommend this hall for every one need an elegant hall for any event. Thanks for them .

Hall is nice, could accommodate around 100 to 150 people max, the width is a bit short, the service staff were good.it is good for small weedings, stairs entrance good for pictures, big parking, 2 washrooms each can take a person at a time, small space between building entrance and hall entrance not suitable for reception before entering the hall.I enjoyed the wedding I attended there, smiling and cooperative staff, cozy place.definitely I recommend it for small to medium gatherings or weddings.

The management was uncooperative. They failed to have the hall clean upon agreed arrival time. The caterers were not allowed into the building in time (11/2 hours late) which greatly affected the serving time of our meal. They used the oven for heating food but were told they were not allowed because they were cooking. After a long discussion the man in charge agreed to let them heat food. The oven did not work properly so the food took much longer to heat. The man who did set up refused to do it the way we requested telling us it would be ugly and so we had to do it ourselves. Air conditioning was insufficient. The floors were uneven (worse in the basement). The outdoor landscaping was totally neglected and had weeds instead of flowers. The sound system did not work well and we had to bring in our own system.

Hall of peace is an incredible place with great staff members, respectful and helpful. They made sure to make my event over there well-organized and memorable. I got all the help needed to set up my tables, chairs and plates and organize them exactly how I wanted. I am glad I chose that incredible place to have my event. A piece of advice if you desire an unforgettable event, you have to pick Hall of peace too.
