Food was delicious enough. Hash browns weren't the tastiest I've ever had but they were alright. Presentation was mediocre, and I was one person, but didn't get my drink until after I requested it and the toast came separate.Also didn't get a refill.Not my favorite restaurant experience but not the worst.

I’ve been coming here at least 3-4 times a month for the last 6 months. The staff are incredibly kind, the service is fast, food is always good. This place is a hit every single time. I love it here. My favourite place in haliburton. I also love the look of the restaurant - great small town diner feel. Just what you are looking for when eating breakfast in haliburton.

Nice traditional family restaurant ambiance but it's priced like a tourist restaurant in Niagara falls and the food is quite frankly mediocre. There was a time where this place represented first rate quality home cooking and fair value but not anymore. 18.99 for a turkey club and fries. 16.99 for a grilled cheese it's gross. Food costs are high but nowhere near high enough to justify these prices. Edit- Restaurant claimed they are not profit driven, please explain how you can justify the increase from a $6 grilled cheese to a $14.99 Grill cheese BLT, Ive been in the business for 20 years, your prices are gross and you are likely at 22% food cost instead of 32% which is the industry average. Face it you are a tourist trap and no longer represent the history of that establishment.

Our waitress dawn was amazing and all the food was hot and fresh. We enjoyed the food too much to get a picture but The dessert was to good not to show. While not flashy in presentation - it was a warming experience on an otherwise chilly day - super family friendly, would totally recommend.

Good typical diner-like breakfast, cute old-fashioned place, good service. It's nice they serve EVERYTHING on their menu, all day long, for those of us who aren't big egg eaters. So basically, good. I'd give it a 3.75 on the rating - nothing spectacular but nothing to complain about either.

Had a great breakfast with my other half Sunday morning. It was good, coffee tasted great. Clean environment, and it was packed!Loved the history of the restaurant, staff were very friendly and polite. Also cashier was great at advising local shops.Took a bit of time to get the food, but seeing how busy they were, and knowing that everything was made fresh to order, we were understanding.Will be back again soon :)

We dropped in to Haliburton to go the Art Gallery there, (it's a good one!) and saw lots of traffic tripping into the Kozy Korner, so we followed them. This is where the locals come on a Sunday after church - we have it on good authority!The special was Chili in a Tortilla Bowl, or a choice of soups. One of us had the Chili and he pronounced it a winner. He said he'd come back even if it wasn't in a tortilla bowl!The restaurant is comfortable - lots of booths and tables, and the service was fast and friendly. Coffee was an added bonus - hot and fresh.All around us folks were visiting and ordering. Someone actually wandered over to have a look at the 'special' on our table, before he ordered. The acoustics in the place absorbed most of the sound, so we didn't have to shout. This is MomnPop at it's best; it has been established in Haliburton for a long time and we found it easy going and likeable. We'll go back!

Not sure what went on. Older waitress couldn't get the drink order right. 4 people at the table. Mixed up 3 of the food orders. Breakfast orders, wrong potatoes on 2 of 4. Wrong eggs on one. Place was not busy.11:00 on Sunday. Wrong meat on one. They did bring several refills of drinks. Did not bring us our bill. We had to go to the till to receive bill. We are an often group of customers. Have been going there for years and this is the second time in less than a year that this has happened. What's going on. You used to be fantastic. You have only one more chance to mess up. 3 strikes and your out.
