Fringe Theatre

Edmonton fringe is a great street performing experience and is tied to a bunch of other live theatre performances that are also special. Some of these are locally directed, even written and cast which is a great way to experience arts from this city and support one another! On a good weathered weekend this makes a memory for your summer!

Loved it. The kids loved it. Such a great event. Fabulous performers. I have a little guy so I haven't checked out plays but I wish we could. They look like a blast.

Edmonton Fringe festival is back to town. A lot of street performers, vendors and theater performances. Strathcona becomes live for a few days. The street performers are amazing, fortunately everybody provide them with monetary support. There is a variety of food vendors my favorite ate the Bannocks. Today was very nice hot summer day.

The Edmonton Fringe is a thrilling adventure for anyone who appreciates all forms of live entertainment.The heart of the festival is the 250+ theatrical productions who come to Edmonton every August from across the world to perform their new/odd/zany/explicit/edgy/hilarious/wild work. Some shows will sound amazing and will be awful. Some will sound awful and will light up your world. So choose with recklessness as you'll be surprised and amazed with everything, no matter what you choose!Additionally, world class street performers line the festival grounds performing acrobatics, fire-play, and other wild stunts. A few solo musicians scattered throughout as well. Also, tons of food trucks with the most delicious fare.I could go on and on... (but I won't.)

After a year of hiatus please go and support the Fringe Theatre Festival! It's a staple in our city and such a great event!

Would've loved to see Ben Bankas here but they cancelled his show due to their woke politics. Won't be coming back ever again.

Great place to meet up with friends before any theatre event.

If you've never attended a nerd night, you should check it out. The topics are different every time. Gets you thinking. It's like a live Ted talk. It's a fun night.
