Bicycles Quilicot Laval

the technician didn't put my wheel in safely. the quick release was loose and the wheel went out of alignment while I was riding. i know mistakes happen but the liability is covered in the price we pay as clients. so the value of the service was poor.

Truly atrocious customer service. Maybe these guys know alot about bikes but I wouldn't know cause I was there for 15 minutes and all the employees were too busy chatting to answer a simple question or even say hello.

The customers service representatives on the shop floor are nice and helpful (hence the 1 stars). However, the people who work in the repair workshop are shockingly rude and arrogant. They have terrible attitudes. The worst customer service experience I've had for a long time. They seem irritated that the customer is bothering" them with repair requests. The quality of the repairs are sub-standard (I've used them multiple times as they are close to my house and I like to support Québec businesses). I would recommend to avoid this shop for any repairs or mechanical bike issues. Expensive

In 1.5 hours, their technician was unable to figure out why my front brakes were screeching. He then proceeded to claim that the noise I experienced was normal. It should not be normal that brakes are loud enough for people to turn and look at you when you stop.They have certificates on the wall along the service counter boasting the skill and qualifications of their bike mechanics. I find it comical considering a bike shop in Montreal was able to figure out and fix the problem in about 5 minutes (the wheel was slightly crooked).

The staff at Quilicot Laval is amazing! They went above and beyond with their knowledge and service. Especially, Jean-François, the bike mechanic who went out of his way and took the time to explain everything to me.

Visited this shop to inquire on a bike repair and to book an appointment. The girl that served me was not only useless, her only response was to go to the website and book an appointment there, which is clearly much more complicated (for my specific problem) compared to them simply writing the issue and booking an appointment for me. Meanwhile there were other clients that were booking appointments on the spot, which shows that they prioritized some clients over others. I believe that there was a bias (despite speaking in French), since the workers were clearly unilingual and the English website is broken for getting any service. The worker also gave me attitude saying why didn't I bring my bike when they didn't even have any availability regardless, while I had clearly specified what needed replacement.

Reserved bike with deposit since they would only receive it in a week only to be told over a week later that they had sold it to someone else. They initially claimed it was sold simultaneously online (if that were the case I would have been notified the next day) and after challenged said it might have been human error and forgot to reserve it in their system. In any case they refused to own up to their mistake, did not apologize, nor offer any form of compensation for their mistake for a replacement bike. Only thing the manager Sebastien said was to wait 16 months for the next shipment. Extremely poor customer service and would not recommend shopping at this location. If this is not a franchise then Quilicot should investigate to ensure that this location didn't sell this bike to an employee's acquaintance in these times of limited inventory - such a mistake is completely unacceptable.
