PhysioCan Physiotherapy and Foot Care

I can honestly say that this is the best physiotherapy clinic that I've ever been to. I fully tore my ACL a few years ago and just recently had surgery to repair it in March. Since then I have been seeing Anker and Stasi to regain range of motion (ROM) and learn how to walk again. They are both extremely personable and know what they are doing. What separates this clinic from the others I've been to in the past is that they are very hands on - Anker has helped my scar tissue immensely with the tools she uses. They don't just tell you exercises to do at home - I can tell they care about my rehabilitation and that's why I keep going back. Highly recommend anyone in the Stouffville and surrounding areas to visit for sports related injuries!

I highly recommend this physiotherapy clinic. As someone who suffers chronic pain I have tried several other clinics in Stouffville and this one is by far the best. The staff are amazing, very knowledgeable and friendly. Anker, the physiotherapist, takes her time with you and uses a unique technique called Graston which is proving to be quite effective. Stasi, the PTA is very helpful and makes sure you are well taken care of. I have always been taken on time and treated well. Bonus feature, Seniors discount.

My physio, Anker is amazing! She did an excellent job with my injured leg and knew exactly what and how to help with my recovery and return to work. Stasi, the front desk/assistant is very knowledgeable and helpful she was always on top of the paper work and willing to help with whatever I needed. I would highly recommend anyone to visit this clinic and see Anker, you will not be disappointed!

To begin with this was my first acupuncture experience as I have a chronic trapezitis pain due to my sedentary work. Admittedly, I was a little nervous at first - but Anker made me feel comfortable - starting slowly with the Physio treatment and explaining every step of the acupuncture process. Overall, I found it to be a wonderful experience, my pain was 90 percent better with my first acupuncture. I broke my ankle and this physiotherapy clinic is saving my life. Sherif the physiotherapist always goes above and beyond to ensure that his clients are comfortable and improving. Even the secretaries try their best to book based on your convenience. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone who wants an honest and very experienced treatment.

PhysioCan has been a life saver for me. My post surgical rehabilitation success could not have been possible without them. They have helped me tremendously by treating my injuries, educating me about them, and tailoring a treatment plan specific to my injuries' and post op protocol. The therapists and staff are professional, friendly, and most importantly focused on getting you pain free and functional. Sherif is highly experienced and strives to give you the best treatment possible. I have seen Anker a few times and she is great as well. Stasi is always so kind and does her best to accommodate appointments even on short notice.

Excessive sports, running, swimming, and ignorance brought upon years of chronic pain to my outer thigh. The untreated imbalance muscle usage of my outer thigh caused pain to my knees, IT band, and pelvis, as the muscle was overused. Sitting, standing, or changing positions had no diminishing effect on the persistent pain. At times, I was using a hammer to hit my knees to try and alleviate the pain. The only method I knew was to ignore it, which slowly became impossible. Everything was unbearable until...I met Sherif and his team(Stacey, Ankur, Johnny) of highly skilled, patient, and persistent members at Physiocan. Sherif assess and determines the perfect medical treatment for his patient depending on their needs. He diagnosed the problem of my pain and solved it using graston, electro-suction, and electro-acupuncture to regulate my muscle tension imbalance. Years of persistent pain was eased in 1 session! After one session I was relieved, but like tuning a piano that has not been touched in years, I had to come back weekly to relieve the tension, which inevitably made Wednesdays my favorite day of the week.To further on, from years of computer usage, 12 hour study sessions, and stress from high school, I developed TMJ and a stiff neck and back. No worries I thought, I would bring this up with Sherif, and boy was that smart! History rhymed- Sherif developed a treatment for those as well. Years of teeth grinding stopped and my stiff neck and back relaxed. I cannot be more grateful and appreciative of Sherif and his team's work.I assure you, with benevolence, that with hundreds of thousand of dollars spent on education, that whatever physical problem you have can be handled by Sherif and his team.Thank you,William Thieu

Anker is the best! I blew my shoulder 3 years ago and she fixed it after 2 months of physio. Hands on treatment which I love. Great atmosphere and Stasi is lovely to deal with when trying to set up appointments. They explain what they are doing and what your injury is. 100% recommended

My husband took my 11 year old daughter to PhysioCan Stouffville because she had an achilles injury from competitive dance. After seeing Anker for a few weeks and doing the exercises she suggested, my daughter's injury healed. Since I was amazed by the results, I realized I should try to get my painful rotator cuff injury, healed. When I first entered the clinic, I noticed that it was clean and appreciated that there were covid safety protocols in place. I was greeted with a warm welcome from Stacy and Anker and instantly felt comfortable and in good hands.I love that Anker is always punctual and very thorough. Not only does she know how to treat my injury, but also both her and Stasi take time to get to know their patients. My husband who is a runner and is very active, also schedules frequent appointments to prevent injuries and improve mobility.
