It's a metro in a student area. It's more expensive than pretty much any other place an extra 2-3km out. But if you are in a crunch and can't get out there. It works.Good selection and staff are kind. Nothing special, but horrible. A happy medium.

Great metro. It is well stocked and clean. I will say it is a lot more than a Food Basics or No Frills but it has a nice variety of goods. As well, with the discount racks and the student 10% discount Tues-Thurs there are some good deals if you search.

Bought some premium ground beef here only to find out when I was about to cook it that it smelled terrible and was expired. I went to take it back and they said they don’t do returns due to Covid. I get not doing returns, but you sold me rotten meat? Waste of $15 for a small amount of meat. Don’t shop at this location. The uptown metro is a lot better.

Very helpful staff. Prices are competitive. Tues and Thurs are student discount days so busy during school year. Self check out makes it go faster for those of us with just a few items.

Excellent fresh baked goods. The produce section is always decent. Prices on fresh meats is competitive.

Fresh produce, wide range of ethnic products, and amazingly, they have frozen kosher beef and poultry fairly priced. Floral department, too. Store is clean, bright, friendly staff and a decent sized parking lot downtown.

Convenient grocery store and fairly well laid out. Normally, better grade meat and produce. Friendly staff from my experience and lots of parking. Smaller floor space but lots of varieties.

Shopped here for years and drop thousands a year here. Was here tonight and noticed once again no larger grocery carts. Saw a young employee just inside the door talking to a woman with a clipboard and said “there’s no large carts left can you help me find one’. The woman said that is because we mainly have small carts. Our customers are students who don’t use large carts. I said so are you telling me that because I shop for a family that you don’t want me to shop here and said no that’s not it. We just cater to students.In the meantime the young bearded man disappeared and came back pushing a cart and said here you go - we only have 7 large carts and for some reason lately we have only been getting small carts. It’s always an issue.Who should be the manager or supervisor?

Just a wonderful grocery store that you can get anything that she would like whether it be your bread products your gluten-free products or even if you needed some lobster and some clams for your night out this place has got it all I love the metro because they actually care about the food. unlike other grocery companies metro is always a go to for us. ♥️
