Had a great experienced in the novice 1 class that my puppy and I attended. I've owned dogs my whole life and have taken numerous training courses, but I learned so much in Sherri's class and saw incredible results with my 8 month old doberman puppy. I can't wait for the next session to start!

Dogs are kept in kennels most of the day only being let out for an extremely small fraction. The kennels smell like urine when you enter them as a result. They get a small thin blanket to help lay on the concrete floors. Couldn't bear to leave my dog there, made alternate arrangements. Only positive is that they accept bookings on short notice.

I sent my dog to Coopers Kennels for a month in the past and had a great experience. I tried again for 3 weeks in September they bought my dog in their arms which I found odd then she was not her usual excited self to see me. I later noticed she was limping and that she had a discolouration on her nose and found out she had a skin infection. I called BRB and was told no one noticed but the fact she was carried out to me and that she was limping makes me think otherwise. If they did not notice then it shows that perhaps they were not playing enough attention. I normally would not write a negative review but decided to after speaking to my vet. After my mother used Coopers Kennels for years and then myself BRB as a Kennel did a very poor job and I would never leave my dog in their care again

BRB K9 taught us how to communicate with our husky. Before our first class we could not walk our husky puppy on the sidewalk. All she wanted to do was attack the grass. That first evening after class we walked on the sidewalk! Now she even goes for leash free walks around the neighborhood. We would absolutely recommend BRB K9.P.S. We recieve compliments all the time on how well behaved our husky is. We 100% credit Sherri (and a lot of practice).

Amazing results!!!The trainers here are very knowledgeable and experienced. We have participated in puppy classes, novice classes, and just started drill team. Our pup comes home after training ready for a good sleep, and full of confidence. 10 stars for these ladies!!!!

I have known Sherri for years and first met her and team with my rescue dog when everyone told me he couldn't be trained. Sherri did it helped save his life and make him a great part of my family. As a breeder she takes care of her pups for their lifetime to makes sure they are part of your family. Sherri's training techniques are amazing with all breeds and any issue she will take on. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Think twice about signing up for training courses at this facility. I took my rescue dog Nessie to an introductory training course at BRB in 2018. I was an inexperienced dog owner and I continue to hit myself for this, but I chose BRB based solely on the great reviews online, and I didn't have a good grasp on different training approaches. The training methods used are almost exclusively aversive and punishing, built around the use of choke collars and claiming they are somehow humane. During our short 6 or 8 week training course, one dog got bit by another dog, a dog owner had a panic attack while observing a trainer use harsh physical corrections on their docile but energetic puppy in a demonstration and another owner was berated verbally in front of 25 other people for not applying the trainer's recommendations properly or swiftly enough. Based on my experience, and what I now understand to be evidence based practise, aversive training with physical corrections are an unnecessary and inhumane training approach. Positive training methods accomplish the same and better outcomes without instilling a sense of fear and anxiety in our dogs. My improved knowledge around dog body language and communication has also allowed me to see that my dog Nessie was only obedient" using BRBs recommended training techniques because she was full of fear and anxiety. In the short term

Kennels are disgusting. Strong smell of urine immediately upon entering. You can tell by the peeling ceiling tiles they have no care to upkeep the facility. Dropped our pup off Saturday 3pm picked up Sunday 3pm. Instead of being charged to board for 1 night like any other boarding facility we are charged 2 days at $30/day even though he was only there 24 hours. Will not be returning, and if you're reading this I highly suggest you find another cleaner, more affordable and professional facility.
