Horrible pharmacy! I've been going to them for a while now and they are consistently screwing up. My meds are NEVER ready when I'm told they are, they make me wait waaaaay longer then they tell me, they don't communicate if there's an issue, and they lie rather than dealing with these issues. They even lost a prescription once and refused to acknowledge it!! There are too many reasons for me to list but you should avoid this place if you can.

the staff have treated me with respect and courtesy for close to 3 yrs now since i developed 2 serious life altering conditions. their pricing can't be beat and i don't even have to give my name on the phone because they know my voice. i live in temple now instead of the same bldg as them on centre and still deal with them to spite the distance i have to travel twice a month for a yr and a half now

I loved the original owner/pharmacists at Sheldon Chumir. I’d been with them over ten years. Efficient, friendly, really went all out to help each person who came in. Since being bought out by Co Op though service has declined, and getting medications that aren’t usually stocked can take up to a week to get. I’m getting frustrated with them and I feel like the staff don’t care as much. Still okay and do provide services to hundreds of people but I think overall they can do better.

I came to this pharmacy when other pharmacy's told me they couldn't order in my life-sustaining, kidney transplant meds. Needless to say, it was a good choice because this is now my favorite pharmacy! If you call in advance, they're usually on the ball for filling your prescriptions. Plus, if you think the travel is too far or you don't like driving downtown, you can get them to deliver your meds - Great bonus!

Very slow service right now I am sitting waiting for weeks worth of antibiotics there are bout 5 staff very little customers been in since I came to get my prescription which I would have thought it would have been made already very poor attitudes too if you point out the issues if person looks like a street person or addiction problem they seem to like drag feet for service!!! Will be last time I use them will also be filing with B.B.B and human rights a

I never had a good experience here. Chose beacon as my pharmacy when I began hormone therapy. I’m a trans man. Seemed like they never had testosterone in stock and sometimes I had to wait weeks for them to get it. They rarely contacted me once my prescription was in and this lead to several lapses in the dosage of my medication. One of the first times I picked up, one of the female pharmacists loudly misgendered me to another employee while I was standing there. Another time the same person called me another female gendered name (not my birth name) after assuming who I was instead of asking me when I went in. Do yourself a favour and don’t go here if you’re LBGTQ+. I switched to a different pharmacy a month ago after never hearing back when I left a message for a refill.

I was with beacon pharmacy for some years and honestly they were so comfortable to talk to about my health. The ladies at the front are friendly. And the pharmacist are always effientient. Fast service...good people happy environment!!

Beacon pharmacy has been my pharmacy of choice for close to 9 years now. I say of my choice " because of the entire family of staff. From the front line ladies to the pharmacists. Most importantly to Rich and Amy. It was very bittersweet to hear they have decided to move on to pursue the next stages of their journey. These 2 dedicated many yrs of their lives with one goal in mind. To not only make beacon such an unbelievable personable environment
