The Cover Guy - Couverts de Spa

I placed my order Oct. 17th based on the 3 week estimated ETA on the website. I called a few times to follow-up, never got a real person. I did receive replies to my emails asking for a delivery date and I never got a clear answer. In fact, the closer I got to an answer gave me an estimate they did not meet. Their generic email response said they make it in 5-6 weeks after it gets in production. It could be a busy season, it could be difficult to operate normaly these days but hiding this 'detail' from customer is simply misleading. Oh, and when you order, you don't really know when it gets in production, mine was put in production 4-5 days after the order.We now start week no.8 since I placed my order. I really can't comment on the product as I still don't have it but I can tell they will charge your credit card the very same day you place the order!There are many vendors out there. If your choice is based on the lead time, keep searching.

At first the when I ordered my cover the support team was top notch ! Received in a month but after 3 years it became all teared. Never had snow of rain because it's under a gazebo. We use the spa every single day or so...had a talk with claire, the warranty clerk.... the so called warranty tried to charge me almost the same price than a new one! For less warranty time..... I was about to buy a new one a the same place but when i read my emails It remembered me that I don't want to feel the same way I felt when all this occured... so I bought a new one from another company for almost the same price....

Great service. Have ordered here a few times. I own 2 hot tubs and they have both cover dimensions on file. They are usually very prompt in delivery. Yes, delivery was longer last time around - due to Covid - but I'm happy to support Canadian. They actually called me personally to follow up when delivery took longer than expected. Who still does that in the internet age? It was a very nice personal touch. Will certainly order again.

We have now bought our third top from the Cover Guy! These folks have not only an excellent customer service - but their product is outstanding! We use our spa every winter and can attest that we would HIGHLY recommend this company!

I ordered my cover in October 2020, at first I was extremely satisfied with the quality of the product. The major flaw are the locking clips which break very easily! Customer service was quick to send me replacement parts. Thank you.

I ordered my cover from THE COVER GUY after the original I had gotten with the hot tub needed replacement shy of 4 years. I wanted to support a local company. The delay from the pandemic was expected but further more, I had to change the delivery address and THE COVERS GUYS " managed to accomodate me during the pandemic. I can say i am 100% satisfied with THE COVER GUYS and would recommend them to any of my friends and family member.-Denis"

*****ALERT TO FUTURE BUYERS*****To all future buyers in this siteVery bad service, the worst ever, never answer the phone, I received my cover after 8 weeks and I was missing the hydraulic bar that I paid over 219.00 + taxes.Never got any response, today I finally sent another email to see if they finally respond. I recently ordered a deluxe" hot top cover and I'm quite pleased with the product

We received our cover and after a few months noticed a small hole in the cover. We were told that it was due to shipping and only covered by warranty within 48 hours. The suggested fix was to buy duct tape. When opening the cover to apply the duct tape we noticed the foam wrapping was torn. This is inside the cover and not exposed to elements however we were told this was not a warranty issue because it had been over 48 hours and we could pay for a replacement + shipping. I'm curious how something protected zipper inside a cover could have been caused by shipping but that is the customer service stance. Save your money, use a different company that actually backs their manufacturing, stands by their product and warranty. Our cover is less than 6 months old and they're not interested in fixing their poor quality manufacturing. So much for trying to support a more local company.

We ordered online, the service dept., double checked our measurements for our Hydrospa Brand & helped us remeasure over the phone to make sure we had the perfect fit. From start to finish the experience was great. Shipping did a great job of delivering to us in Quebec during the slowdown in April from Covid. I would definitely recommend : ) Oh yeah & I love my new cover!
