The commercial 6 story building is leaving the lights on all night. Not sure why and not sure who the building manager is to ask if they can turnoff the light while building is empty. It is ugly and annoying for neighboring buildings.

Dangerous buildings to live in. My storage room has been broken into multiple times. Building management is complacent.

Great building with Concierge services.I was a tenant in KC1 tower for almost 1 year and I Liked this place to live. Specially thanks to the Weekdays Concierge, She knows everything related to building and Bylaws. When I was moved-in, She helped me a lot because I did not know anything about Move-in in condos. Building environment is pretty good, friendly neighbor's and residents. Concierge listens to your problems and deal according to the issue. I have had to move to another province otherwise i will not leave the building.

Had my bike stolen from the P1 level bicycle rack. It had a bike lock on it. I notified the concierge and they asked for a photo of it to see if they can find anything via camera recordings. I checked around the bike rack area and couldn't spot any cameras anywhere near it so I don't know how it will be possible to see it being removed or follow any sequence of events on camera. Basically, my bike is gone and almost zero likelihood of recovering it. I think the building should invest in a couple cameras covering this spot and that would at least help in deterring thieves. The building strata council appears to be quite restrictive/stingy when it comes to common area amenities. The sauna and steam room have never been made available for use since the day they were built. Since all pandemic restrictions have been lifted, there is now no reason to keep them closed. I have to resort to visiting the nearby community centre to use these same facilities I thought would be included here in the building. The gym's WiFi, TV and sound system are also disabled for use. Key features in the Lounge and Games room are also either out of order or disabled (wifi, second refrigerator, TV/projector, BBQ)Living in the actual apartments has been fine and with a nice view from the window if you're facing outward. However, it seems that some of the things that make this building pleasant to live in and which I was sold on moving into have turned out to be a flop/unavailable indefinitely.

This place has the worst parking for design layout and size of parking stalls, if you have a regular size vehicle or pickup truck it's a challenge!!

As a number of other people have noted, property theft is a real problem here. The storage areas, parking garage, and bike parking are unsafe and you should expect to lose anything you keep in those places. The concierge service here is also the worst I've experienced in any building I've lived in. They're nominally there from 8am to 8pm every day, but they're often out for hours at a time. When they leave, they put up a little placard saying that they're out for a short patrol and to call or text the listed phone number if you need them for something, but I've literally never had them respond. That generally doesn't really matter, but they didn't even bother showing up to work when I had a move-out booked (they often show up late and leave early). I had to call the company they work for to get them to show up that morning (I was paying $120/hr plus 20% tip to movers). Even though I waited half an hour to call the number of the company they work for, they were very mad when they showed up 5 minutes after I called their company and asked why I didn't call their number instead. Well, if they ever looked at their phone, they would've realized I did call them; they just ignored it as always. The concierge issue also contributes to the theft problem. I once had someone tailgate my car into the garage in a way that would've been impossible to stop without ramming the other car to push it backwards (they moved their car right up to my bumper, which keeps the gate open since the gate won't close on a car). When I told the concierge about this, they didn't care and didn't do anything about it. No wonder there's such a theft problem here. Ironically, the company the strata employs for concierge service is nominally a security company.Guest parking here is also a real risk due to the concierge service. The way it works is that, to use guest parking, you get a parking pass from the concierge. It's all digital, so there's no actual paper trail and the concierge sometimes just doesn't do it, so your guest will get a warning and then get towed, as one of my guests found to their dismay.I never previously imagined that concierge service could be so bad that it would make the experience of living somewhere significantly worse, but here we are.
